She closed her eyes at the simple touch of his lips.
A cool tingly sensation hit her thigh as he gently smoothed the cream over one thigh, and then the other. An involuntary whisper of a moan slipped from her throat, his touch was soft and careful. Nothing like the night before. This man tonight was kind and caring. It warmed her heart.
Mr. Jackson stood, put the box back together, and then put it away in the bathroom. She heard the sink running, and then he was back offering her his arm.
She thread her arm through his, and he escorted her back out to a wide-eyed Dane.
With a nod, the silent man walked away.
“That was fucking weird.” She explained in detail what had just happened.
“Why won’t he speak to you?” Dane asked.
“I don’t know.”
“Well, I see his damn lips moving while he’s with other people, so I know he’s not mute,” Dane took a snobbish tone. “Maybe his voice isn’t as sexy as his body, there’s no way. Maybe he’s embarrassed by it.”
She watched him move around the room for the next hour. Not once did he look her way. She was disappointed and upset. It shouldn’t matter though he’s just some random guy passing through town.
And yet it bothered her.

Nikolai didn’t feel like playing, he wanted to leave. After he saw Izzie wince at her friend’s touch, he’d lost the urge. He knew full well with punishments and rough play there were after effects, but for some odd reason with Izzie, it bothered him.
He couldn’t contain himself another minute. He needed to be near her, touch her, and that was the perfect excuse.
Once in the room though, he tended to her pink skin. She didn’t need the cream, but he wanted a reason to touch her.
She was beautiful. He knew this before, but now that he wasn’t punishing her or staring from across the room, he had her up close where he could appreciate all he could see with a clear mind.
Her skin creamy and soft beckoned for his touch.
And without a second thought, he took it one step further and kissed her thighs appreciating the heat from her body and her natural scent. It was heaven.Shewas heaven.
When he put the supplies away, he had to take a moment to collect himself. He felt out of control just being near this woman. He knew he shouldn’t be around her. She made him want more than he could handle.
Hell, they didn’t know the first thing about each other, yet he felt a strong connection to her. It reminded him of something his late father, the King once told him about his mother. “I saw her across the room, and I knew she was the one.”
Was Izzie the one? The thought sent his stomach fluttering and his heart pounding in his chest. The thought was ridiculous. She was in America, he lived thousands of miles away. They just met days ago.
He took a deep breath and settled himself to escort her to her friend.
He noticed Izzie and Dane left shortly after. He too headed back to his hotel in the utter disappointment of not being able to watch her all night.
Boris hung out with him for a bit, they had the TV on for background noise but played a few hands of cards. “Izzie has you deep in thought and out of sorts.” It wasn’t a question, but a statement.
Nikolai only nodded and remained silent for a few more hands.
“You should give her your agreement and go from there, maybe you can start something with her. She may have a shit life here and want to be whisked away by a dashing prince, or be flown in now and then. Isn’t that every girl’s dream?” He chuckled softly.
“No, unfortunately, it isn’t.”
Boris won every hand. “Your head isn’t in the game. Think about what I said, offer her the agreement.” He paused, and this caused Nikolai to look up. “Your mother called, we need to be back by next week.” Boris stood and stretched looking toward the bathroom. “I—uh, I’m heading out for the night.”
“Busty blonde again?” Nikolai couldn’t hold back a grin. He was happy for his friend.
“Yep, she knows I’m here passing through, nothing will come of it, and we’re having a great time together. You can too with Izzie you know, just give it a shot.”
