“You think he’s going to take control back?” Davit asked.

I shrugged, the motion nonchalant in a way I certainly was not. “Who the fuck knows?”

“Indeed, who does?” Davit said.

It was on the tip of my tongue to ask him the question that I had been avoiding, but I swallowed it back.

Davit had a family to worry about now, so to the degree that I could, I would keep him away from this bullshit, both mine and our father’s.

“You know I’m here for you, no matter what, right?” Davit said.

I chuckled, the sound humorless. “To someone else, it would sound like you were going against the head of your family,” I said.

“No. Never that. But what I am doing is telling my brother, the man who would have moved mountains to help me save my child, that I’ll do whatever needs to be done,” Davit said.

“Let’s hope it doesn’t come to that,” I responded.

I shrugged. Davit took a swallow of his drink, and I changed my mind.

I met the waitress’s eye, and she sauntered over. “You changed your mind?” she asked, mirroring my thoughts.

“I think I’ll have that drink now,” I said. “Bring the whole bottle.”

“That’s a thousand dollars,” she said.

“I can afford it,” I answered.

She smiled, and I could practically see the dollar signs in her eyes.

I considered taking her up on what she was offering.

If nothing else, I appreciated people who were open about what they wanted, and she definitely was.

A couple of nice trinkets, maybe some cash, and she was mine for the taking.

I studied her as she walked, her slim hips swaying. A natural redhead as far as I could tell. Average height with a slim build, her petite body toned, her breasts some of the nicer fakes I’d ever seen. The heels and dress she wore probably cost as much as the bottle I was buying.

The total package perfectly adorned to catch men just like me.

Exactly opposite of the woman I couldn’t get out of my head.

I didn’t even have to close my eyes to picture Kayla’s face, one that I couldn’t even call pretty but still managed to fascinate me endlessly. Thought of the breasts far bigger than those the waitress had bought, thought of how they would overflow my hands. Imagined burying my face in them, holding them as I fucked her from behind.

Just as easily imagined her thick thighs around my waist as I pounded into her, knowing she could take whatever I gave.

I shifted in my seat to adjust the hard-on that was never further away than a thought of Kayla.

“I’ll go give William his congratulations and then I’m going home,” Davit said.

I was so preoccupied with Kayla, I’d almost forgotten where I was.

I nodded at him and didn’t even bother to take a jab at him for running home to his wife.

They were his family, his heart, and at least one of us should have the chance to be where they wanted to be.

After Davit left, Isaac returned with three women in tow.

“I bought extra,” Isaac said as he settled on the couch.
