“Hey,” I say.

They all stare at me, nudging each other.

“Yeah, you guys. Want to do me a favor?”

They nod eagerly. Pathetic.

“Put this up, spread the word, and get it in as many hands as you can.”

I shove the pack of flyers into their hands, and Chaz and I walk off.

“What are we doing tonight?” he asks. “I want to go out.”

“So, let’s go out.”

“What about Glitter Girls?” he asks. He’s referring to the strip club on the other side of town. My dad has a tab there and a booth they always keep open for him. I choose the nights I know he’s forced to be in public with Mom to keep up appearances and use the booth. Chaz caught on, and it became a more regular thing.

Sometimes, staring is just enough to get me worked up for the real deal when I go back to campus and find someone the kill a couple of hours with.

I think about seeing naked beauties on the stage, their bodies glistening with body oils and gyrating to the beat of sensual music, but I don’t get that twitch in my cock I usually do.

“Nah, I think I just want to go drink,” I say.

Chaz frowns. “Did you just turn down a strip club? What is up with you?”

“Maybe I don’t feel like sitting there with some whore sweating all over me when all I need is a couple of cold beers and a quiet night in.”

“Okay, okay, calm your tits,” Chaz says.

He glances sidelong at me, but he’s not going to push it. Like I said, he knows me, and he knows exactly what to do.

We end up going to a pub. I would have been fine sitting in my room, but Chaz is itching to get out. In my room, there are no women for him to pick up because they’re usually there for me.

We sit at the Rat & Parrot, a student pub across from campus, and it’s packed. I’m sucking on the bottle of cold beer I wanted, and Chaz has bourbon in a glass, looking fancy. I glance around the pub. Everywhere, groups of girls stand together, talking and laughing, eyeing the talent. They’re waiting for guys to buy them drinks, proposition them, and take them back to their dorm rooms.

“I’ll be right back,” Chaz says and makes his way to a group of preppy girls that look like they’re high-maintenance. He turns on the charm, and they melt all over him. When he points to the bar, they glance in my direction and nod eagerly.

Chaz brings them back to me. I know I look like a badass with my black eye. It’s gone a little green over the last couple of days, but it’s still something the girls are after.

“This is Hilary, Megan, and Santana,” Chaz says, pointing out the girls I’m not interested in remembering. “This is my friend, Stone.”

“We’ve heard about you,” Santana says.

“Yeah?” I ask. “Where?”

They giggle among each other, and I fight the urge to roll my eyes. I let my eyes roam their bodies without shame.

Granted, they’re all hot, and they want sex. I can practically smell their need. They’re dressed to kill, in clothes that will be easy to take off. I’ll find sexy lingerie beneath it, no doubt, if I care to look.

The girls join us and make small talk for a while. They lean in and touch our arms more and more, giggling and flipping their hair.

When I get up to take a piss, Chaz walks with me.

“I like the brunette,” he says. “You can have either of the other ones—or both.” He grins at me while we stand side by side at the urinals.

“You can have all three of them,” I say. “Knock yourself out.”

“You don’t like ‘em?” Chaz asks with a frown.
