Lumi

Ade is ridiculously excited when I pick her up from school. She had a wonderful time at Jas’ house, she tells me that she’s had a good day at school with no natural or magical disasters, and she is almost hyper when I tell her that we’re going straight over to the guys’ house for her to spend some time with Whit and Quilo while Yas takes me out.

I think she pierces my eardrum screaming with joy when I ask if she wants to move in with them and be a proper family.

It’s just me that’s a nervous wreck.

I spent the whole day with Sacha and Jasmine, freaking out. Eventually the pair of them got fed up and so they tag-teamed and beat me into submission. Basically, they told me to stop thinking like a human and to start behaving like a supe—trust in the damn bond and get on with it.

So here I am, standing on the guys’ doorstep, nervously awaiting my first proper date.

“You look beautiful, come in,” Quilo grins when he opens the door.

“Hi Lumi, hey princess,” Whit calls as we step into the hallway.

Their house is massive. Not far from the rink, but hidden away in the woods away from prying eyes. It didn’t even occur to me to ask if they had enough room and things before agreeing to move in, and now, seeing the place, I’m glad I didn’t. They probably would have just laughed at me.

“Mama says we’re going to move in with you and live here,” Ade announces.

“Is that so?” Whit smirks. “And what do you think about that?”

“Can Peewee sleep on my bed?” Ade asks, cocking her head to one side.

“Absolutely.”

“Do I get my own room?”

“Yep.”

“Can I have a tiara?”

“Of course.”

“Do you have a garden?”

“A garden, a games room and an indoor pool. Shall I give you a tour?”

“Bye Mama, have a great time!” she shouts before racing off to take Whit’s hand. He laughs and she pulls him away down a corridor, not a clue where she’s going, but he lets her.

Left with just Quilo in the hallway, he gives me a seductive grin.

“Behave,” I admonish him.

“Can’t. You should wear more dresses. I like you in a little color. Don’t get me wrong, those yoga pants do things to my cock that—”

In a panic that Ade might come back or hear I slap my hand over his mouth. He grins wickedly at me and takes the opportunity to run his hands up my bare thighs, under my dress.

“Stop it!”

“Can’t. Damn, I wish I were taking you on a date now.”

“I’ll be living here soon and you won’t need to bother,” I tease. He turns serious.

“Moving in doesn’t change or accelerate anything. I’m still going to take you on dates. I’ll woo you.”

“Woo me? Who says woo anymore?”

“I’ve been talking to Burt today. He stopped by the rink for some advice about Betty.”
