“Where you goin’?” Billy’s question stopped me.

“I’m headin’ out.”

“Didn’t you get my text?”

I turned all the way around. “About the family meeting?”

“Yeah. Hank called it.”

“I thought you sent it to me on accident.”

“Nah.” Billy shook his head and clamped his hand on my shoulder. “Family meeting. You’re family now. Truth is, you always have been.” He pulled me into a hug.

By the time he released me I felt myself choking up. Not because of Billy saying that I was part of his family, but because I knew that if that’s how he felt, he wasn’t going to have an issue with me marrying Cheyenne. I blinked away the moisture, hoping that he wouldn’t notice my reaction.

“Who died?” Jimmy asked as he came through the back door of the bar.

“No one,” Billy answered as we all made our way to the front.

“Hank better be bringing food.” Jimmy grabbed a bag of peanuts and downed a handful.

“One day, your metabolism is going to catch up with you,” Billy warned.

“Maybe, but today’s not that day.” Jimmy grinned.

The front door opened, and Reagan, Isabella, and Cheyenne walked in.

Cheyenne’s face lit up when she saw me, and I knew that mine did the same. I walked over and wrapped my arms her.

“Hey, I wasn’t expecting to see you here.” She hugged me tightly.

“Billy texted me.”

“He did?” she asked smiling widely.

I nodded.

“Did he say what the meeting is about?” she asked.

“Nope. Just that Hank called it.”

I’d no sooner said that when the door opened again and Hank, Skylar, her daughter, Luna, and her sister, Ashley, walked in. Ashley and Hank were both carrying two large bags from the Piggly Wiggly.

Everyone said their hellos and as we all sat down around the bar, Jimmy said, “Damn, this is a full house. I hope you brought enough food for everyone!”

He was probably only half-joking.

“There should be plenty. I ordered two party platters,” Skylar explained as Ashley started taking out the food.

“Oh, fancy.” Jimmy wagged his brows. “To what do we owe this feast?”

“This is our reception.” Hank smiled at Skylar.

“Reception?” Billy looked between the couple.

“Did you guys?”

“We got married,” Hank stated bluntly.
