“Yes.” Cash pulled me into his arms, onto his lap, and kissed me as he held me tightly. “There’s only one thing that can make me happier than I am right now.”
“What?” I asked.
“Hearing you say that I’m not alone. That you love me too, that you want to marry me, to raise a family with me.”
“Hmm,” I pretended like I was considering it and Cash swatted my butt and I laughed. “I love you, Cash. I want to marry you and have your babies and be the best bonus mom to Amelia I can possibly be.”
“You love me?” he asked as his lips brushed against mine.
“Yes.”
“Say it again.”
“I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you…” I was still saying the three words when he flipped me on my back and then he froze.
“What’s going on there?”
I turned my head and saw that Marshmallow was giving Fozzie a bath between his spread legs.
I looked back up to Cash who was hovering above me. “It looks like Fozzie’s getting more action than I am.”
Cash took the bait, lowered down and started kissing my neck. Within seconds, the rest of the world fell away and there was just us. Nothing else existed but the way Cash made me feel and the way that he loved me.
