We all said our goodbyes and I flopped back on the bed. I laughed. I couldn’t believe Roxy had bought metwobloody vibrators. I also had my own one here.Somewhere… I’d put it into retirement when Lorenzo had come back on the scene and hadn’t needed it since.
I took a glug of gin and then slid the vibrator out of its pouch. This one was purple and glossy.

I still had at least another half an hour before Lorenzo got back from work and we did a video call. We’d been doing them every night since I’d got here. It was nice to see his face and chat for a while. I missed him so much.
It was silly little things, like the heat from his body. I missed having him beside me. The feeling of his heart beating, him holding me until I fell asleep. The way the same cute tuft of hair always stuck up on his head when he woke up. I missed his laugh.Everything.
I pictured Lorenzo in my head. His gorgeous smile. His beautiful body…
I took another drink.
