“And the nightclubs.” Jade wiggles her brows as they sing. “The Gee Spot.”

Disappointed I missed it all, I smiled along with them. “Wow, how long was I asleep?” I chuckle.

“We saved a few places to check out together,” Jade reassures me.

“Speaking of, the theater is showing Titanic tonight,” she smirks.

“Seriously?” I glance between them. “Titanic?”

“Hey, I didn’t pick it.”

“Next you’ll tell me they’re playing Overboard or some other boat-themed movie too,” I joke.

They both make a face. “It’s tomorrow night,” they laugh.

Shaking my head, I snicker. “I’ve got nothing to say.”

“You know you want to go,” Taylor teases, seeing I was a sucker for romances.

My face softens. “Of course, I do.”

“What about after the movie?” Jade asks.

Taylor and I exchange a look. “You guys aren’t cutting out early on me,” Jade whines. “I want to party a little.”

“You realize Titanic is like three hours long, right?”

“Yeah, and the movie starts at nine, which means it’ll only be midnight when it’s finished,” she offers. “Therefore, we could hit Gee Spot afterward,” she sang, doing a little grind in her seat as our server Jeremiah returned with our food. “That’s right, you heard me,” she says, without shame.

“All the power to you, gorgeous,” he replies, matching her playful banter. “But if you’re hitting up Gee Spot later, how about calling me,” he says, wetting his lips. “I’m sure the two of us could have some fun,” he adds, taking her hand in his.

“Okay,” Jade sighs, as Jeremiah places a kiss on her hand.

Becoming putty in his hands, Jade’s eyes break away from his and flit across the table towards us. Looking at Taylor and I for approval, she reaches for her wallet. Removing her business card, she slips it into his breast pocket. “I’m Jade Caballero,” she replies, her voice thick and sultry. “Call me when your shift is over.”

“Definitely,” he smirks, before breaking their eye contact. “Ladies, let me know if you need anything else?” He says, referring to our food before he excuses himself from our table.

“Thank you, Jeremiah,” Jade sings as we watch him walk away.

“You really have no shame, do you?” I tease, checking my phone for the third time since we entered the restaurant.

“You don’t think I’m coming off too strong, do you?” She asks, her eyes bouncing between Taylor and I.

“You’re not actually asking us that, are you?”

Jade nods.

“Of course not. We should all be having fun,” I said, bumping Taylor’s arm.

Perking up, Taylor smiles, before her eyes drop to my phone. “That means you’re going to have to stop checking your phone every five minutes,” she adds, turning it back around on me.

“You’re right. I know,” I sigh. “It’s just killing me that Logan hasn’t called all day,” I admit. “I mean, we’ve only been back in contact a few hours. But the silence makes the time go by slower,” I sigh.

“That’s understandable,” Taylor says, taking a sip of her drink.

“Is it?” I worry. “Because ever since I fell into Logan’s arms, I feel like I have been riding one enormous wave after another,” I confess. “And suddenly I don’t know how to swim.”

Jade glares at me.
