“I’ve got it.”

Running through my list one last time, I made sure I had all the items checked off. Grabbing my cell phone, I quickly made a vlog and posted it on my social media accounts and YouTube channel.

Here I go

???

I’ve never flown first class before but a girl could definitely get used to this, comfy seats, warm towels, and champagne? “No, thank you,” I said, turning this round down. I did not want to get buzzed. I could already feel my legs turning to mush from the jet lag.

“Anne Marie just texted. Both her and Andre have made it to the ship safely,” Lila said.

I wondered where they were. Why had they not flown with us?

“Andre’s that hunky tattooed guy we saw in the parking lot at the office, right?” Jade asked, knocking back the rest of her champagne.

“Yes,” Lila laughed.

“How come they didn’t fly down with us?”

“I think Andre has a private jet. They flew in a couple of nights ago,” Lila explained.

“Wait, this guy has his own private jet?”

“I think he works for a modeling company and they have a jet.”

“Okay, like seriously, what’s their story?”

“Actually, I’m not really sure, but they make a cute couple. He’s such a gentleman too. Holding doors and moving chairs out of the way for her.” I’m practically swooning.

Jade’s brows rose. “Aww.”

Hearing the captain speak over the intercom, they instructed us to stay seated as he prepared to land. Learning about ourarrival, I began wiggling my toes now to get the circulation circling before it was time for me to stand. Gathering their things around me, I feel anxious about not having my chair accessible to me.

“So, what’s the plan for reuniting you with your chair?” Lila asked, breaking into my thoughts.

“I’m going to head out and grab it while Taylor hangs back here, right?” Jade asked, popping into the conversation.

“Right,” I nodded, agreeing anxiously.

“Oh, so you ladies already have a plan?” Lila asked, motioning between us.

“We always do,” Jade sang.

How many drinks did she have?

“I’m thinking I better go with her,” Lila chuckled. “She’s definitely going to need a hand in her state.”

Maybe sending her isn’t a good idea?

“Thanks, ladies. I really appreciate it,” I said sincerely as I watched them disappear.

Closing my eyes, I sent up a silent prayer that my chair didn’t get lost over the flight.

“Everything alright?” Taylor whispered, at my side.

Popping my eyes open, I sighed. “Yeah. Just a little anxious. I don’t feel right without my chair, you know.” I admitted.

“I get it. You don’t enjoy feeling out of control,” she said, empathizing with me.
