We exchanged vows in the lush greenery under an Oversized cherry wood Arch covered in beautiful pink roses. Hundreds of guests witnessed our nuptials. Off to the left there was an open tent covering the reception area. Hayden and I danced the night away. I love both my fairytale weddings.

After our wedding was over Hayden and I flew back to California. I loved our new home overlooking the beautiful Los Angeles skyline. I made love to my husband under the stars in our back yard. Hayden and I were off again after only being home for a week. We flew to London then to the south of France. We stayed in France longer than any other country. I loved staring at the bright colorful villas along the water. The view would make the perfect post card.

Hayden and I enjoyed Les Plages Electroniques dance party. The dance party fell on my birthday, August 10th. We walked along the beach holding our drink of choice. I wore a yellow string bikini, I purchased when we first arrived in Cannes. My husband was finally letting loose. No suits just t-shirts, shorts, and flip-flops. We enjoyed the outdoor concerts. I never danced so much in my life. We met the bands after their sets. A couple of the bands invited us to a private party later that night. That’s the perk of having money. Oh, how good it felt to be young and enjoying life with my husband.

Hayden returned to work the first Monday of October. I started working in my new position at Sebastian’s company S.J. Software the same week. I was happy to train under the best. Everything I learn from Sebastian would also help on our future missions. Hayden and I alternated our lunch plans. Sometimes we would have lunch at his office or mine or we’d go out for lunch.

My workaholic husband is back at it, working late hours. Usually he’ll get home around 5:30 in the evening and continue his work day in his home office until around 8:00 p.m.

Sundays are still reserved for my dad and me. He loves living in sunny California. He said he wishes my mother was there to enjoy it too. Our first Thanksgiving together was spent in Texas at his Grandparents estate. Hayden’s parents and sister Vicky were there.

“Lydia, take a pic with me.”

I stepped away from Hayden over to Vickey.

We wrapped an arm around each other, posing for the photographer.

We glanced at the pic. “Vicky, it looks good. I’m placing it on my mantle at home.

“Me too.”

Hayden, come take a picture with us,” Vicki yelled.

Hayden wrapped an arm around us posing for the photo.

“Vicky, come here a moment,” there father instructed.

“You guys come over and rescue me. I’m sure dad is about to introduce me to someone boring. All he does is try to find a husband for me.”

We laughed.

“Ok well be over,” I stated.

“Hayden, I can’t believe y’all have a large Thanksgiving dinner every year.”

“Yeah, always have ever since I was little. If you want to start our own tradition next year we can.”

“Ok.”

“Pose for few pics with me.” Hayden pulled me close wrapping me in his loving arms posing for several pictures. We are still very much in love.

When we returned home the following evening. I ran out to my favorite place, the backyard. The sky was full of stars that night.

I know eventually we will have our own dinner parties and birthday parties for our children in our backyard. My heart raced at the realization, this is my wonderful life. I was relieved when I learned from my new doctor, my body is healthy and I shouldn’t have any problems having children.

Hayden slipped his arms around my waist. “Baby, whatcha thinking about?”

“I don’t want us to ever loss our southern accents. I still love Atlanta.”

“Baby, we can visit whenever you want. We still have our condo.”

Crossing my arms, I rubbed Hayden’s snuggling in close. “Ok.”

I glanced back out at the city. “I love this view. Most importantly, I love us.”

Hayden kissed my hair. “I do too, baby.”

“It feels good knowing we shouldn’t have any problems starting our family.”

“I agree, we need to get started on creating little Hayden Jr.”

I laughed. “You’re determined to have your son first.”

“Yeah, I am. He and I are going to take care of his momma.”
