“I don’t know. It was very intense, though.”

“I was just thinking about something.”

“Thinking about what?”

I made my way to the bed, reaching out, grabbing her ankles, and pulling until she fell flat on her back.

“Oh,” she gasped, a smile toying with her lips.

I led her legs over my shoulders as I buried myself between her thighs. There was no teasing, no exploration. I was too determined to get another fix of her.

My tongue traced up her cleft as her thighs shook around me.

Then it was her sweet taste over my tongue, her hands in my hair, her hips writhing against me as I drove her up.

It wasn’t her sounds.

It wasn’t her quiet pleas not to stop.

It wasn’t the wanting that undid me. It was what lay just beneath it. The untethered sensation in my chest. I’d spent centuries being unmoved. Suddenly, I was moved. I was… considerably moved. And I didn’t know what to make of that.

“Silas, now, please,” Maggie begged.

Her fingers yanked at my hair until I finally lifted my head, then slowly moved to stand.

Her face was flushed, her chest rising and falling fast, her eyes hazy with desire.

I pushed my pants down my legs, then reached down to pull her legs closer.

“Silas, now,” she whimpered.

I shifted my hips, she arched up to meet me, then I surged deep.

Her throaty moan tangled with my deep groan as her warmth enveloped me, tightening around me.

It was the most alive I’d ever felt.

The most connection I’d ever known.

Maggie writhed, her restless need making her shamelessly uncontrolled.

Her fingers fisted the sheets as I started to thrust.

My hands slid down her silky thighs to sink into her hips, tightening, then lifting slightly.

Maggie’s hands shot out as a choked moan escaped her.

“Right there?” I asked.

“Y…yes.”

Her walls tightened around me, making each thrust exquisitely torturous as my own body pleaded for relief.

But not yet.

Not even as she broke apart, as her walls clenched around me over and over.

Not yet.
