“Wow, you look fantastic Raven.” he says to me.

“Thank you.” I smile. “Now, let’s go get some food.”

I started toward the food stands before they could say anything further.

The problem was, I wasn’t hungry.

I wasn’t particularly interested in the rides either.

And I definitely hadn’t spend an embarrassing amount of time getting ready just to eat a funnel cake.

I was here for him.

Whoever he was.

The memory surfaced before I could stop it.

A dark farmhouse.

His hand around my waist.

His mask staring down at me.

My fingers curled into his shirt.

I pressed my lips together.

One fucking year.

It was one kiss.

One.

Pathetic.

What the fuck was wrong with me?

The last year, I’ve been enrolled in college. Doing my classes and working. Doing everything to ignore the feeling I got from one moment at a fair, or well a carnival.

I’ve went on dates.

Sat across from handsome men.

But, none of them gave me any sort of feelings or butterflies.

Something had to be wrong with me.

I couldn’t stop picturing his tall frame.

His hands.

The way he walked.

Even his freaking boots.

I went back and forth on trying to identify which brother it could be.

I’d convinced myself that it had to be the flirt, Sebastian.
