‘Me too. Looks like I’ve got a hot date!’ Joe waved his phone in the air which had Sated’s dating app and a blonde guy’s profile on the screen.

‘Okay. Sorry again and have a good weekend.’ I followed Blake to the lift.

‘What’s so urgent?’ I asked as the doors closed. ‘I know I often work late, but it’s Friday night and I was spending time with my friends. Is there a problem with the app?’

‘No,’ Blake said.

‘So why did you drag me away?’

‘Because I needed to see you.’

‘About what?’ I put my hands on my hips.

‘We’ll discuss it in the car. Geoff’s waiting for you downstairs. I’ll meet you there.’ The doors opened on a random floor and Blake left without saying another word.

What the hell?

If he needed to see me, why didn’t he just text or call like a normal person?

I took my phone out of my pocket in a huff.

There were four missed calls and two texts. The first was sent forty minutes ago.

Percy

I’d like an appointment this evening. Let me know your availability.

Oh.

He did try calling. And he texted.

I’d saved his number under a different name, just in case. And considering he was as addictive as my favourite sweets, calling him ‘Percy’ seemed fitting.

As I read the message again, a bolt of electricity rocketed through me.

I should still be mad at him for pulling me away from my friends.

The fact that Dana and Joe had plans, so wouldn’t have stayed out much longer anyway, made me feel marginally better though.

I couldn’t lie. I was excited about spending another night with Blake.

Especially when I had been convinced things were over.

I headed down to the lower basement and saw Geoff by the car.

‘Hi! How’s tricks?’

‘Evening, Ellie,’ he chirped as he opened the door. ‘All good, thanks. Make yourself comfortable. Mr Devlin will join us shortly.’

I slid onto the backseat and a few minutes later, the door swung open and Blake got in.

Once he’d put on his seatbelt, Geoff set off.

‘Where are we going?’ I asked, trying not to be distracted by his hotness.

‘I’m taking you to dinner. Then we can fuck. If you want to, of course.’

My traitorous pussy screamed yes, please and I tried to fight the fresh waves of tingles that erupted between my legs.
