“I can’t wait to see it. It’s great to finally meet you in person too.” Liv reached down to fondle a rope necklace that hung on Sebastian’s neck. “This is beautiful.”
“Thanks, girlie. It’s from my favorite man.” He nudged Garrett, who gave a single, silent nod in response.
Liv settled onto her lounge and patted the seat next to her, so Matt joined her. He rested a leg against hers and took a long breath. Even feeling irritated, he wondered if he’d ever get enough of touching her. He leaned in to whisper in her ear. “Why didn’t you tell me you started your blog?”
Liv shrugged. “It’s not ready yet. I’ll show you when it doesn’t look quite so amateur. That’s Sebastian’s job.”
Matt nodded. He needed to stop overthinking this. It wasn’t like Liv was intentionally keeping secrets from him. She wasn’t Sadie. And it was just a blog.
“So how were the waves?” Liv asked Sebastian, who had taken to ogling Matt again. “Could you really catch any out there?”
“It was perfection, pumpkin,” Sebastian said. “Like boogie boarding in a bathtub.”
Liv laughed. “Sounds fun. I love how warm it is out there.”
The amber light brought out the highlights in Liv’s hair, and reminded Matt of the time. “We should go if we want to walk back in daylight. And if we want to eat dinner before midnight.”
His statement was met with a collective and somewhat drunken grumble. But everyone got ready to go anyway, putting on clothes and packing up towels.
Liv walked back with Sebastian, and seemed completely taken with him. At least that was one man Matt knew he didn’t have to worry about. Still, when they arrived back at their little enclave, he grabbed Liv’s hand.
“We’ll meet you all in the kitchen,” he told Sebastian and the rest of the group as he dragged Liv away and headed straight through the courtyard and toward their palapa.
“In a hurry to get ready for dinner, chef?” Liv asked.
“We need to change, don’t we? Plus I forgot something really important in our room.”
“Oh?”
“Yeah, I forgot that there’s a lock on the bathroom door. Finally, a place no one can bother us.” He pulled her through the bedroom and into the bathroom, where he shut and locked the door before backing her up against it and kissing her.
Liv giggled. “A lock but only two walls and no roof.”
“I’m sure the birds won’t mind what I’m about to do to you.” He ran his knuckles gently along her cheek, and then reached around her to turn on the shower.
It was a sunken shower, made entirely of stacked rock and concrete, and much like the rest of the bedroom, looked out over the forest. About as much privacy as they’d get in this place.
Liv lifted his shirt as he adjusted the water temperature, and he let go of the shower handle so she could pull it off over his head.
“Let’s get you out of this wet bikini,” he said, noticing her tank was already on the floor by the door. He couldn’t fault her for being in a hurry. He felt exactly the same way.
She shook her head. “I might as well rinse it off first.” She stepped into the tub and hummed in appreciation as the water cascaded over her face and body, rinsing away the sand and salt from her skin and suit.
Matt climbed in after her and untied the straps behind her neck and back, letting her top fall to the shower floor. She faced away from him, toward the water, so he took her hands in his and placed them on the rock wall in front of her until she leaned forward onto them. He groaned as he swept his eyes over her delicious little body.
“Keep your hands where they are.” He hooked his thumbs in her bikini bottoms and lowered them down her legs.
She stepped out of them, and he kissed her ass on his way back up. She pushed her hips back toward him, rubbing up against his cock as he wrapped his arms around her from behind.
“Patience, sweetheart.” He slid one hand down her belly and between her legs. He ran a finger up her slit, and she bucked her hips.
“Matt—”
“Shhh. We need to be quiet, remember?”
He heard her let out a little sob and he almost lost his mind. God, this woman. One little sound, and he was about to come all over her back before he ever got inside her.
“Open up for me, baby,” he whispered in her ear, and he nudged her legs apart with his.
