“Oh, please.” She breathed out a laugh.

I pretended I was about ready to go right, and she immediately moved to the left at the same time I did.

“Oh shit,” she said and ran.

I caught her before she made it out of the kitchen, wrapping my arms around her waist from behind and lifting her off the floor.

“Simon, put me down!”

“Absolutely not.”

She kicked her legs, laughing so hard she could barely breathe. I carried her to the bedroom, tossed her on the bed, and hovered over her, pinning her arms above her head.

“Cheater.” She grinned.

“How the hell did I cheat?”

“You tricked me!”

“That’s not cheating, Bella. That’s called strategy.”

“That’s called cheating, Simon.”

Our eyes stayed locked on each other. “I told you I would catch you.” I leaned down and smashed my mouth against hers.

Our clothes came off in a flash. After exploring every inch of her beautiful body, I thrust inside her. Several moans escaped us as we both took in the pleasure of each other. I lowered my head and wrapped my lips around her hardened peaks while I moved in and out of her. She orgasmed twice, and I flipped her over on her stomach and took her from behind. She had me so hard, and I couldn’t get enough of her. The intense buildup was there, and I couldn’t hold back any longer. I halted and buried myself deep inside her, groaning at the pleasure this woman gave me. I pulled out, removed the condom, and rolled onto my back.

Bella snuggled against me with her head on my chest, and one leg tangled with mine under the sheets. My finger softly stroked her arm, and we both lay there peacefully.

“I still can’t believe you called my father,” I said.

“You’re still thinking about that?” She laughed.

“Yes.”

“Why?” She lifted her head and looked at me.

“Because you called my father and invited him to go to the fall festival with you.”

“You say that like I invited him to join a cult,” she said.

“I’m not entirely sure there’s a difference,” I sighed.

“Oh, my God.” She lay her head on my chest. “It’s a fall festival, Simon.”

“I know what it is,” I said.

“Do you really?”

“Of course I do. I know what happens at them.”

“Really?” She lifted her head again. “Enlighten me.”

“Pumpkins, hay, apples, and probably some filthy farm animals running around.”

She burst out laughing.

“What?” My brows furrowed.
