It took me a while to get used to it, but now it smelled like home.
My hands molded to her gorgeous breasts, kneading the soft globes.
Savannah moaned, closing her eyes and shivering when my tongue licked a path between them.
“Carter…don’t. Please.” Her pleas vanished when I pushed a cup down and sucked on a nipple.
With one finger, I drew a line between her legs and leaned closer.
“Now go and get ready. Or we’ll be late,” I whispered, my lips brushing her earlobe.
She panted, watching me with glossy eyes. Eyes filled with pure and uncensored lust.
Savannah’s breathing evened, and her chest stopped rising and falling in quick motions.
“Wait until later. I’ll make you lose your mind,” she said, her diabolical spark back. “Now close your eyes, and I’ll make an entry,” she said, her tone teasing.
“Please tell me you’ll be dressed, or I’ll lose it.”
“Yes. I will. But the sight of me will shatter all your restraints, and you’ll regret stopping what you were doing seconds ago.”
I smacked her ass. “Put that dress on. I’ve been dying to see you in it for weeks. I can’t believe they had to custom-tailor it for you. Who knew exclusive designers’ pieces were this hard to get? You’re lucky June has connections, or this would have never happened.”
That gown came with a price tag I preferred to never think about again. June called me twice to make sure I wanted to move forward with the order. I rubbed my hands together. Now that I was about to see Savannah wearing it, excitement bubbled in me.
“I know. Be ready to be amazed.” Savannah kissed me one last time before disappearing into her dressing room, and I sat on the edge of the bed to wait for her.
My heart raced in my chest.
My body heated up with ill-concealed desire.
The night would be long.
I could already predict it.
“You need help with that?” I asked, not even disguising the urgency in my voice, unable to wait any longer. I already knew we’d have to get the sexual tension out of the way before leaving, or we’d both be miserable all night. “I can zip you up.”
Savannah’s head peeked from the doorway. “No. All good.”
I returned her smirk.
“Close your eyes. Don’t cheat, Carter.”
I raised my hands before me. “Fine.”
Leaning back and propping myself on my elbows, I sealed my lids.
Savannah muttered something.
“You sure I can’t help you? I volunteer.”
Her laughter warmed my insides.
It felt like the prom I never attended.
The sound of ruffled fabric got closer and stopped. I could feel my girlfriend standing near me, her breathing slow and steady. I straightened my back, expectations firing inside me. My tongue swept my lips.
“Ready?” she asked.
