Four months later

I grabbed the key from under the doormat and let myself in. The house was silent. Only a nightlight was switched on in the kitchen, a star in the dark, showing me the way. In complete silence, I tiptoed to the bedroom. The sound of the shower got my pulse racing.

Not bothering to turn a lamp on, I undressed.

Heat billowed inside me.

I opened the bathroom door and peeked in. Steam filled the room. Jitters wiggled inside me.

I slid my naked body through the opening between the tiled white wall and the navy-blue shower curtain we’d picked out together. From behind, I wrapped my arms around Jeff’s midsection and took a big whiff of his manly scent. Sandalwood and cinnamon. And soap. Jeff stepped forward, giving me access to the hot water stream. My lips trailed kisses between his shoulder blades. My tongue traveled down, licking and tasting my boyfriend’s clean skin.

His body pulsated in my embrace.

Jeff turned on his heels and wound his arms around me.

“Hey,” he said, his smile taking over his beautiful face, a day’s long scrub darkening his jaw, the skin of his arms and chest golden, and his muscles leaner and more defined from working in construction.

“Hey yourself.”

“Did you sneak out again?”

I nodded. “I had to see you. Between school, rehearsals, shows, and interviews, we barely ever spend time together anymore. I missed you.”

Jeff traced the side of my face with his knuckles.

“I’ve missed you too, Princess. So much.”

I pressed my head in his chest, welcoming his heartbeat, strong and steady, against my cheek. Jeff’s erection saluted me, pressing hard against my lower belly.

“Hey you,” I said, drawing my eyes down and curling my hand around his velvety flesh.

“He missed you too.” Jeff smirked.

I worked him a few times, enjoying the throbbing inside my fist.

My tongue traced over his pec muscles.

“I’ll crash here for a few hours, then I’ll go back home. Carter helped me perfect my escape route. No one will notice I’m gone.”

“You asked Carter to help you with this?”

“Yes. I didn’t want to bring you into this. If Daddy ever finds out, you won’t have to lie to him because you’ll know nothing.”

I scratched the side of my head.

“Guess it makes sense. You know you’re as smart as you are hot, right?” His lips devoured mine. Time stopped. “Let’s set some rules, though. No talking about my baby brother or your daddy when we’re naked in the shower, Princess. Now turn around, I’ll wash you.” I obeyed. Jeff’s large hands massaged my upper back, and I forgot about everything else.

Three months. And then no more hiding or sneaking out at night. Three months, I repeated in my head, letting all the sensations Jeff’s closeness brought to my body take over.
