With gentleness and fire in his eyes, Jeff unbuttoned my jeans and slid them down my legs. I watched him watching me.

The drumming of my heart vibrated through me.

Could he feel it too?

Without looking away from me, my boyfriend lowered his head to spread kisses from my knees up to my inner thighs. One leg, then the other. I fisted the sheets on either side of me, trying to stay put. His finger pulled the crotch of my panties to the side, and the tip of his tongue found my drenched center. The muscles of my jaw twitched. I tried to scream, but the sound died in my throat.

Shivers ran up and down my entire body.

The warmth of his mouth mixed with my wetness.

When Jeff sucked on my clit, I thought I would never come back from the rush.

He brought his finger to his mouth and licked the length of it. His eyes were now an ocean. Deep, dark, and bracing for a storm.

When he slid his digit inside me again, I gasped.

I rolled my head back, fisting the sheets harder.

Jeff had made me come with his fingers multiple times in the past, but his touch had never ignited my body like his mouth just did.

With my clit between Jeff’s lips and his finger diving in and out of me, I lost contact with reality.

My body stiffened. I panted. A million sensations hit me at the same time. And I let go.

I rode the wave of pleasure, trying to even my breathing, to chase away the fog clouding my vision.

A slow grin appeared on my boyfriend’s face. And I mirrored it because everything inside me was happy and bubbly. I wanted to smile like a fool. Dance like there was no tomorrow. Scream my love from the top of a mountain.

“Do you want to stop?”

Jeff’s stare burned holes into my skin.

I bit my lower lip, shaking my head. “No. Never.”

Jeff got to his feet, disappeared in the bathroom, and came back seconds later with a foiled square in his hands. He stopped a few feet from the bed, eyeing me with hunger and love.

I liquified at the sight of him.

The last thing I did before my boyfriend rocked my world with tenderness and passion was to beckon him with my forefinger. His lips crashed on my lips. His body fused with my body. We couldn’t tell each other apart, our souls joined forever.

One hour later, under the covers, with our heads pressed together and our fingers intertwined, Jeff and I breathed the same air, our faces an inch apart. My heart was still begging to be freed. My flesh felt different. Sensitive. Ignited. Loved.

“Princess, I hate to say this, but I need to drive you home and pick Carter up. He must be wondering where we went. I can’t believe I won’t wake up with you in my arms in the morning.”

I turned to my side and cradled Jeff’s face in my hands.

And kissed the tip of his nose.

His arm looped around my neck, and he pulled me to his chest.

When we broke apart, we both got dressed, the remnants of what we just shared lingering in the air.

“Let’s get Carter,” I said, thinking of my best friend, whom we left behind when we were supposed to celebrate our first single playing on the radio. Together. I sighed, a smile creeping onto my lips. Tonight, though, I’d had the best celebration I could ever ask for.
