“Already did,” Teo answered, wiping his face off with a shirt.
“Really?!”
“Uh…it’s weird to say this out loud, but this is a huge turn-on, Zach. I love making you feel good.” Teo gave my stomach a kiss, then climbed into bed with me, laying his head on my stomach.
“Do you have class today?” It felt silly asking. I already knew the answer. I knew it better than he did.
“You know we both have a class in McAdams at the same time. Are you trying to make awkward post-orgasm small talk? Is that what you do with all the men that suck your dick?”
“Oh yeah. The conga line of men I’ve had through my boudoir.”
“Do not try to make me jealous.” Teo glanced up at me and poked me in the side.
“We should probably get ready to go soon.”
“I know.” Teo sighed. “Is it bad that I just want to forget that I’m in college and stay in bed all day with you?”
That wasn’t bad at all, but it certainly wouldn’t help us graduate on time.
“Unless you want to be a fifth year student then we should go.”
“Can we shower together tonight?”
“We shower together every night.”
I didn’t have to wait very long for the awkward apology from Franklin and Oliver.
After my last class of the day, I headed back to the frat since Teo had a study session. While I was doing some last minute revision for my final paper in art history, there was a knock on the door.
Somehow I knew it was them.
As soon as I opened the door, Franklin started, “Hey Zach, we wanted to apologize about what you heard.”
“We shouldn’t have talked about you that way,” Oliver added. “If it helps, I do think you’re cute, and that’s the only reason we were talking about you.”
“That sounds worse when you say that, Oliver.”
“Well, it’s true. Zach’s hot, I can’t deny that.”
“I appreciate the apology, guys,” I interrupted before he could stick more of his foot in his mouth. “I understand the why. It was more that you assumed I was the bottom and that bottoms are somehow less than tops.”
“Yeah, I see that now.” Oliver scratched his head and leaned against the door frame. “I could blame it on frat culture?”
“Or societal misogyny?” Franklin suggested. Neither of them was holding eye contact with me for very long.
“It’s probably both.”
Oliver was right. It was likely both, but I didn’t care to get into a sociological debate at the moment. I had been teased for being prissy and girly when I was younger and it was because I was quiet and smaller than the other boys.
Despite having to be called out to apologize, I knew Franklin and Oliver would be more mindful of their language. And thanks to Teo, most if not all of the frat would be as well. I was tempted to tell them taking a huge dick is a lot more work than fucking a hole, but I knew I wasn’t alone in wanting this conversation to end. Instead, I said, “Thanks for the apology, guys. I appreciate it.”
I wasn’t entirely placated, but it was a start.
“We’re both happy for you and Teo, man. Next time we’re talking about someone’s fine ass, we’ll be doing it in private.”
I humored Oliver with a chuckle and motioned to close the door. They took the hint and backed up, almost cowering in a passive sort of gesture.
“See you around, Zach.”
