I really needed to get laid, but there was no one that would satisfy my cravings right now.

I could’ve gone to the police station to try and seduce the cop at reception, she always looked at me and Hunter like we were a snack, but if I got hit with a charge for bribing a cop, Hunter would kill me.

I ended up at Wet Dreams, knowing information ran rampant in there. It was true the girls were usually discreet, but Hunter had Lexi’s respect, so a lot of the other girls respected him too. I’d had to help a few of them out in the past, so they owed me.

Myles stepped in front of me as I entered, a scowl on his face. “What do you want?”

“Nothing you’d be willing to give me,” I chuckled, glancing around. “I have money and I’m lonely. That’s all.”

He snorted, knowing I was full of shit. “Sure, Ortega. Ocean’s in tonight, Violet’s about to start on stage, and—”

“Do me a favor. Tell Violet to come and see me when she’s done. I want a private room too,” I said as I cut him off.

“She’ll be half an hour.”

“Send Ocean in while I wait then,” I shrugged, suspicion taking over his face.

“Room five is available. Grab a drink and head in there. Milky will take your money,” he explained, and I nodded before walking towards the bar. Milky didn’t look happy to see me either, but he was more than happy to take four hundred fucking dollars from me for the room and still had the audacity to charge me for my whiskey.

I was only alone for two minutes before Ocean appeared in her bright, purple lingerie set, her black heels so tall that I didn’t know how she was walking in them.

“You requested me? It’s unlike you to pay for pussy,” she said dryly as she closed the door, the sounds from the club becoming more quiet now she’d shut it out. She was pretty, her caramel hair long and her body covered in tattoos. I’d definitely fucked her a time or two when she wasn’t working.

“I’m not,” I smirked from my seat, crooking a finger for her to come closer. “I’m looking for information.”

“That’s a shame. I was looking forward to a client that lasted more than a minute and knew where my clit was,” she huffed, making me laugh.

“If you want me to work hard, then I shouldn’t have to pay you.”

“Let me dream,” she smiled, stopping in front of me. “What can I help you with then?”

I held out my hand for hers, gently tugging her onto my lap to straddle me.

“You’d hear all kinds of things in here, right?”

“Right.”

“What would it cost me for you to spill some of it for me?”

“That depends on the information,” she warned, sliding her arms around my neck. “And if you want me to do anything for you while we talk.”

“Just sit there and look pretty, babe. Take your shoes off and rest for five minutes,” I said seriously, knowing Hunter would kill me if I didn’t let her have a break.

Relief filled her eyes, and she held onto me as I reached down to unbuckle her heels, a moan leaving her.

“That’s better. You sure you don’t want a dance or something?”

“I’m sure. Sit there in case Myles comes and checks on me,” I replied, sliding my arms around her small waist to keep her in place. “I want to know anything you may have heard about Rory’s arrest.”

She frowned, swinging her legs a little. “The Donovan girl? Not much. I know she’s pretty close with Lexi now. There’s been a few whispers of her arrest, but nothing major.”

“Like?”

“A lot of people think it was a set up by the Psychos. They’ve never liked her being around. I heard one rumor that it was the Soldiers, and another that a neighbor saw her flee the scene.”

“The neighbor has to be bullshit. No one in the Heights calls the cops,” I mumbled, thinking out loud.

“That’s what I think too. The Soldiers don’t have the connections to get her back out, and I doubt Razor would leave her in there after wanting her so badly.”
