God, was Austin even his Daddy right now, or was that just a last-night thing?

Mateo slowly tried to inch away.

“Mmmmmm…” Austin drew in a deep, sleepy breath. “Morning, Teo.”

Mateo drew back a little further. Just far enough that his… little problem wouldn’t be so obviously close to certain areas of…

Austin grabbed his arm, wriggling backward until they were pressed together again. “It’s too early to get up,” he mumbled.

Oh, well alright then.

Mateo settled back down.

Though there was no way Austin could miss his erection. With the way they were laying now, it flopped, thick and eager, against Austin’s inner thigh, grazing against what had to be his hairy balls. God, it felt amazing.

Not that he wanted to top Austin. Well, maybe he kind of did, if it felt this warm and cozy. And… fuck. Austin’s ass was just right there by his cock, which wasn’t at all how this was supposed to be, but it felt so enormously good.

Austin chuckled, that warm, happy sound that he so often shared around Mateo. “Looks like someone is happy to see me.”

“Er, sorry.”

“Boners happen. Especially after a night of hot sex.”

It was calming how matter-of-fact he was about everything.

Austin flopped over, until they were facing each other. Without his glasses, he looked so different it was almost disconcerting. Mateo knew he’d be practically invisible, lost in the blur.

Still, Austin had that lazy, adoring smile as he looked toward Mateo’s eyes. “How are you doing this morning?”

“Good. Um, really, really good. How are you?”

The question sounded inane after he asked it. Too formal, like he was passing an acquaintance on the sidewalk.

Austin cocked one eyebrow, like he was surprised. Or maybe thinking. But then his face split into a grin. “I’m really, really good, too.”

“You sound surprised by that.”

“Yeah, I guess I am.” Austin’s face clouded.

“Do you want to tell me about it?” Mateo didn’t want to pry, but he was dying to know more.

Austin sighed, but he still snuggled up against Mateo’s shoulder. So that couldn’t be too bad.

After that was a long, expectant silence. Mateo almost thought that was going to be the end of the conversation, that they would both just pretend that he’d never asked.

But then Austin spoke.

“About five years ago, I met a sub. Cameron. Cam. And we… hit it off. We played together at a few parties. Then we dated. About a year later he moved in. I thought we were pretty compatible. Matching kinks. Similar interests. But it was… hard keeping up with him. It was…”

There was another long pause.

“I’ll just say, we weren’t a good match.”

Mateo wondered what words were fighting to get out. Which had been rejected.

“And I guess since then I’ve been feeling…” Austin blew out a breath. “I’ve been feeling depressed. That’s the word for it. I’ve even got a therapist now to tell me about it.”

He shook his head, cheek batting against Mateo’s chest.
