They kept holding him in the elevator, not leaving an inch of space around him, and led him toward his room. Only Sebastian pulled a card from his pocket and held it to the sensor next door. Right. That was the couple’s actual bedroom, where they lived all the time.
Inside, the space was warm and open, with a golden brown comforter on the bed and a few tasteful pieces of antique furniture. It lacked the slightly kitschy nature theme of the rest of the lodge, but had a breathtaking view of the gorge.
“Can we get you out of some of these uncomfortable clothes, baby boy?” Sebastian asked, coming up behind him. “We’ll keep some things on. I just want you to relax.”
Neil nodded. There wasn’t much he would say no to if Sebastian wanted to call him baby boy. Well, except apparently the one thing that had started this whole situation.
Jamie plucked off Neil’s horrible tie, then those nimble fingers opened his shirt and pulled it off his shoulders. Sebastian knelt on the ground to first slip off his shoes and socks, then unfasten his pants and slide them slowly down his legs.
It was so much nicer than the scene before.
Also, completely vanilla.
Maybe that was telling him something important.
Jamie continued to hold him while Sebastian stripped down to a pair of snug boxer briefs. His thickly haired chest and rounded belly were just as alluring as before, and Neil couldn’t help watching his every move.
When Neil was ready, Sebastian pulled back the covers. He guided Neil to lay down, then slid in beside him and nestled him in the blankets.
Neil felt like he was moving like a robot, but when Sebastian pulled him in so tightly to his chest that he could hardly breathe, he let himself go limp.
“Good boy,” Sebastian praised. “That’s it.”
Neil let himself just absorb it for a while. The whole world narrowed down to a dark warm tent, and the rich texture and scent of Sebastian’s skin.
“Neil?” Jamie’s voice flowed into the burrow.
“Hmmm?” He didn’t feel like talking, so hopefully that would be enough.
“Would it bother you if I’m not wearing my prosthetic?”
“Huh?” Neil pushed himself upward. Was Jamie actually worried about that? Neil had been so absorbed in his own shortcomings that he hadn’t even considered Jamie’s feelings about his limb or anything else.
Jamie was sitting on a chair beside the bed, stunning in nothing but those lacy red panties, and massaging the pinkish stump just above where his knee would have been. It looked like it was painful, even with the massage.
Neil tried not to stare, but he was trying to figure everything out, and then there was the tantalizing glimpse of Jamie’s cock through the lace. It hadn’t ever been something Neil was attracted to, but it sure was now. So dainty and pretty, yet so alluringly masculine at the same time.
“I can put it back on,” Jamie said, his voice a little too bright.
“No! No.” Shit. He’d fucked this up, too. “You should do what’s comfortable. I’m just not thinking very fast and… well, you’re not wearing very much. Sorry, I was just...” He looked down and then quickly back up.
Jamie grinned. “See something you like?”
“Yes. And apparently my only response is staring like an awkward teenager. Or even worse, an awkward middle-aged man. You’re very pretty. Sorry. I’m just… can we do this whole day over again?”
Neil put his head down, but of course he was met with Sebastian’s firm pecs and those strong arms pulling him close again. Soon, Jamie wriggled in behind him and wrapped his full leg around Neil’s hip.
“I don’t want to do today over again.” Sebastian’s voice rumbled through his chest, a sound that was felt as much as heard under Neil’s cheek. “I enjoyed this afternoon very much. Your business advice was invaluable, and I wish I had a picture of you blushing in front of the lodge this morning. I would frame it.”
“Mmmmm…” Jamie continued. “And I don’t want to redo today because you were epic on the climb. I love watching newbies take their first climb, and I could really see when you found your rhythm. Oh, and we had our first kiss! And you and Daddy had your first kiss.”
First kiss. Like they were planning on more. What alternative universe had Neil stumbled into where not one but two attractive younger men were talking about him like this? Like he was sexy and worthwhile and exactly what they wanted? It didn’t seem possible, but God, it was hard to doubt when Jamie was wiggling behind him, the enticing scratch of the lace brushing just above the waist of Neil’s briefs.
“Are you sure you guys still want me?” Neil asked. “Even if I’m not kinky after all? I mean, it’s pretty clear that I failed as a sub and I ruined your evening.”
Sebastian's arms tightened around him. “Don’t ever, ever think that. You did absolutely the right thing in safewording, and I’m lucky to have you in my bed. I failed you as a Dom. I saw how uncomfortable you were at the mixer last night, and I made the immense mistake of going forward with a scene that Jamie and I had talked about before we even met you. I owe you a huge apology for not reading your signals carefully enough and not doing a better job of figuring out what you needed.”
Sebastian tilted Neil’s face up in the narrow space between their bodies. His eyes were filled with remorse. “Neil, I want you to know that I am deeply sorry for giving you a horrible first experience with kink. As a Dom, figuring out what you desire and what you dislike, and where to push you and where to keep you safe is the most important and meaningful part of my role. I pushed you way, way beyond your comfort zone tonight because I didn’t check in enough and I cannot tell you how sorry I am. I hope you’ll accept my apology.”
