Yeah, sure.

When Levi didn’t move, Saul tugged at his hand. He reluctantly let himself be led back to the living room.

Saul patted his lap, but Levi didn’t feel like he could sit there. He wasn’t sure if he could trust what it meant. And maybe he wasn’t sure if he deserved it.

Saul was looking up at him with such care though. And he wanted to deserve it. He wanted it so desperately. He was sure he could change a little bit. That was part of letting Daddy set the limits, right?

Saul started to look a little worried and Levi realized that he was hovering over him. He always felt uncomfortable being so tall and forcing people to crane their necks. With Saul looking up at him with those frowning brows, it was horribly awkward, but he still couldn’t make it to his lap.

He wet his lips. “May I?” He indicated the ground.

“May you what?”

“May I kneel?” He wasn’t used to kneeling. Most of the time, well really all of the time, he’d rather be on Daddy’s lap. But right now, he needed to break from their familiar roles. To feel the subservience of the gesture deep in his core.

“You may.”

It felt like a benediction. He fell to the ground in a tangle of limbs, hitting his knee on the table leg.

He rubbed it, glaring at the coffee table. “Ow.”

Saul chuckled. “Come here, boy.” He patted his thigh.

Levi scrambled over and rested his head gratefully. He wasn’t really kneeling, but he sort of was, and hopefully Saul would still think it was OK. It was kind of a compromise.

Saul ran his fingers through his hair. It was heavenly, even if he didn’t deserve it. He felt warm and protected in that small space. Saul’s skin was warm through the denim, and he wanted to nuzzle in closer, to where his soft t-shirt met his thighs.

“Is your knee alright?”

Levi wrinkled his nose. “Yeah. I’m not very good at kneeling, I guess.”

“No,” Saul commented in amusement. “I don’t suppose you are.”

“Is that bad?”

Saul traced along the back of his neck, sending shivers down his spine. “It’s very Levi.”

“Is that bad, then?”

Saul sighed.

Oh. That was a very bad sign. Levi was too clumsy and tall and confident again. Too greedy when he should have been happy with what he already had.

“Baby? Motek? Can you please look at me?”

He didn’t want to, but Saul was still his Daddy. At least for now.

He looked up.

Saul hooked one hand around the back of his neck, the other under his chin. It was a possessive hold, one that let him know exactly who was in control and exactly what was expected of him. It went straight to his cock. Made him want to do anything just to please him.

Saul’s eyes smoldered. For a long time they just looked at each other.

When Saul finally spoke, his voice was deep and measured. “You are not greedy.”

The statement was so simple, yet communicated so powerfully, that it took Levi a moment to understand it. He opened his mouth to object, but Saul put a finger over his lips.

“I want you to listen to me, boy. First, whoever told you that you were greedy was an asshole. Probably a greedy asshole, but let’s not worry about that now.”
