“Promise me, Boobie… need your word.”

She kissed my forearm. “I promise you, Gerald. I..I can’t leave because the dick is too good,” she moaned, when I shoved back.

I laughed, as I kissed her again. “I love you, Zoya. Never putting anybody above you and always protecting you. I need you to know you never have to question or fear this… only me and you gotta understand us, ight?”

She turned and kissed my lips. “Right.”

She pushed deeper into me, and that’s when I knew the dam was about to break. I held onto her tighter, slamming her down and we both released. If she wasn’t already pregnant, she would have been.

Both of us were catching our breath as I held her in my arms. I felt her hand move mine towards her stomach. “Us.”

I kissed her neck. “Me, mine, and mine.”

She giggled. “You cannot be possessive over us.”

I stared at her with a dead ass expression. “I’m always going to be possessive over you. Zoya, I think you’re fucking brilliant, rare, and I have touched some of the rarest art and jewels. None of them shits equal up to you, Boobie. I’ve been on the receiving end of losing someone valuable, and I’d never allow that to happen again.”

She looked up into my eyes, as a tear slid down her face. “Yeah?”

“Hell yeah. You gonna be my wife one day… I don’t say that shit because it sounds nice. I want you beside me always.”

“Even if I don’t convert.”

“Even if you don’t convert, baby.” I removed the hair from her face. “I’ll respect your wishes like you respect mine…okay?”

“Okay.” I kissed her lips and held her tighter.

Rubbing on her stomach, while kissing her neck. That was a little us inside of her, and I’d do whatever I had to, to protect them.

“Wash me up, Boobie.” I expected her to start with her shit, but she got up and went to grab a washcloth for me.

“Don’t be getting used to this shit, Gerald.”

“Stop cursing at me,” I smirked, as she rolled her eyes at me.

I was in this for the long game, and that meant continuing to prove to this woman that she could trust me. I could handle her rarest form, but we needed to have that mutual respect for each other.

You never knew how much rest your body needed until you got into the bed. After fucking the shit out my baby, we found ourselves in the bed. Like I knew she would, she put my arms around her and snuggled into me. I kissed her forehead gently until I heard those soft snores.

They weren’t soft, but anything my princess did was cute.

She refused to fart in front of me, but in due time she would be letting them go. If pregnancy had anything to do with it, I knew that shit would be sooner than later. When the sun came crashing through the shutters, I winced, pulling the sheet over my face.

Once I collected myself, I sat up and noticed my prayer mat had already been let out in the corner of the room. My duffle bag and bookbag were no longer near the dresser. I spotted my Nike house slippers near the bed.

My phone was on the night table plugged into the charger with my gun beside it. Boobie’s side of the bed was empty, so I knew she was responsible. Just as soon as I thought her up, the door opened and she carried a bed tray in her hands, with Bando right on her heels. It wasn’t until our eyes met that I noticed they were red like she had been crying.

“What the fuck happened?” I ripped the sheet from me, carefully taking the tray, and putting her on my lap.

“Fucking Bando, man. You brought him here… Goo, why would you do that?” She looked at our dog, because I dare her ass to act like I wasn’t that nigga’s father.

With the way me and Khaos had to coach his big ass onto the jet and then boat, I was his mama, too. Fuck that.

I couldn’t leave the country without him. To her family, Bando was just her dog. I knew better and saw that this was the first thing she had opened her heart to. She allowed Bando in, and in return he loved her like she needed to be loved. He took my place until I could fully slide in.

Dogs had this loyalty that never wavered. However, humans were shitty, and some often couldn’t return that loyalty. I knew he was with her dog sitter, and when I called her, she was acting like I was trying to kill her. Bando had all his papers, because Zoya never played games when it came to him.

There was no way I was coming here and leaving behind our son. He was so over my shit when we arrived that he went over near the couch and plopped down on the carpet. I’d take that over his big ass trying to attack me after our long ass trek across the countries.
