“Fuck,” I gasped as he replaced it with his tongue.
I tilted my hips, grinding against his face. Gripping my thighs, he turned me onto my stomach and jerked me up to my knees. Then his fingers were back on my clit as he fucked me with his tongue from behind.
Burying my face in the pillows, I screamed my release, still coming as he slid his hard cock inside me.
I gripped the headboard as he pounded into me, hard and fast, just how I liked it. How I needed it. He wrapped his arm around my waist like a steel band. I released my grip on the headboard, and he pulled me towards him, my back against his chest.
His thrusts changed from hard and fast to slow and languid. With one hand on my hip, he slid the other from my waist to my breasts, tweaking my nipples before tilting my face up. He took my mouth in a hard kiss as he thrust up into me once more, holding still as he pulsed and filled me. For a moment, I hated the condom separating us… until I remembered the consequences of not using one.
I sighed. “Love the way you wake me up.”
He smiled against my lips. “I like waking you up.”
Curling my fingers around his neck, I sealed my mouth to his, kissing him until we had no choice but to break apart for air.
After showering, I entered the kitchen to find Glacier cooking breakfast for me. This man was so different from what I’d expected of an outlaw motorcycle club president, which made it all the sweeter.
“Coffee in the pot, darlin’.” Glacier turned from the stove and pointed to a cup he’d put ready for me.
“Thank you.” I brushed a kiss to his bare shoulder as I walked past him and poured myself a cup. “Want a top-up?”
“Yeah.” He nodded as he slid eggs onto a plate with sausages and bacon.
Bending, he opened the oven and took out a pan of steaming biscuits.
“Holy shit,” I breathed. “You’re like the holy grail of men. You cook, you clean, and you give the most amazing orgasms. Why the hell are you still single?”
He chuckled and shook his head, picking up the platter of food and placing it on the breakfast bar. “Grab a plate, Ju. Let’s eat before we head over to the clubhouse.”
“You don’t have to tell me twice.” I wasn’t kidding. I was starving.
I loaded my fork and moaned as flavour exploded in my mouth. Swallowing, I took a few more mouthfuls. We were quiet as we ate. I liked it. When I’d had my fill, I pushed my plate away and propped my leg on the opposite chair. I sipped my coffee and watched Glacier inhale his food.
“You never answered. Why are you single?” I asked once he was almost done.
Glacier glanced up at me. He’d left his glasses off, allowing me to see his beautiful opaque eyes. To me, they were beautiful, but I was sure he’d been teased about them over the years. That they seemed sensitive to light probably didn’t help. I could stare into them forever.
He wiped his mouth, then rested his crossed arms on the table, giving me a steady look. “Never found someone I wanted to bring into this life. It’s not for everyone. And I have trust issues. Being President of one of the biggest motorcycle clubs means that whoever I’m with will have a target painted on her back.”
He shrugged. “As for the cooking, I enjoy it. My mom left when I was a kid, so I had to learn to cook if I wanted to eat more than cereal. Rita’s mom and Shoes’ Ol’ Lady showed me a few things.”
“Well,” I let my leg drop back to the ground and mirrored his pose, “I like to eat, and I’m only a mediocre cook, so feel free to feed me whenever you want.”
He smirked at me before his expression turned serious. “Told you I’d never found anyone I wanted in this life…” He trailed off, as if he was unsure how to continue. “Until you.”
I jerked back in surprise.
Glacier held up his hand. “I know we said there would be no strings attached. But Juju, for the first time in my life, I want strings. I know you have secrets, and I want you to share them with me when you’re ready, but until then, I won’t pry. I missed you the last three weeks, and that’s not something I thought I’d ever say.”
I was a little taken aback. I knew my feelings were changing, but I’d never in a million years expected his to change too. I’d thought we’d have fun until it ran out. Then I’d go back to my life, and he’d continue with his. Would it have hurt? Hell, yes, it would. I’d given him more than I’d ever given anyone. Maybe it was time to pull up those big girl pants and admit out loud that I’d missed him too.
Reaching over, I threaded my fingers through his. “I missed you too. I hadn’t slept through the night for sixteen years until that night. Should have known then my goose was cooked.” I grinned at him. “Besides, I’m not your regular woman. I may not have lived the club life, but I’ve not lived clean either. What do you say we take this one day at a time? I’ve got my boy and my family to think of too.”
Glacier kept his eyes on mine. “I can do that for now. But not for long. I want you in my home, in my bed. I want you wearing my patch. How much time do you need?”
“Jesus, Glacier, when you decide to change the rules, you go all out.” I shook my head. “I can’t answer all those questions until I speak to my family. We’re a team and have been since my mother did a runner when I was six. They’ve had my back through a lot of shit, and it’s because of me they transport your guns. You have your club and brothers, and you make decisions together. I have my dad, my brother, and my son. It’s not so different. I hope you can understand that.”
His gaze was still fixed on mine. “I do. I don't like it, but I understand. We can’t change our routine, so I can’t come to you, but I’ll call you every day. But that’s a problem for tomorrow. Let’s clear this up and head over to the clubhouse to see what’s going on. Got a cookout today, and I need to check on the Saint’s, make sure they’re okay.”
