“What do you think? Thigh or arm?”

“I think it’s whatever you want, baby.”

“Yeah, but you’ll have to look at this for the rest of your life.”

A slow smirk spreads across my face. I love how she’s staking her claim on me. I’ve spent so many years chasing this woman, it’s nice knowing she’s finally mine.

“I think you should do your thigh. There’s something really sexy about a thigh tattoo,” I murmur as I tuck a strand of hair behind her ear.

“I want it on my thigh,” she speaks loud enough for River to hear her, but she doesn’t take her eyes off of mine.

“Awesome. I think it will look better there. I can add a lot more detail with having a bigger canvas… What are you getting, Chopper? I'm not sure you have much free skin left.”

“A lioness on my left pec.”

I meet his gaze over Roxy’s head when he doesn’t respond. His eyes are wide. He knows exactly what this means to me and it’s a big deal.

“Alright. Give me a few minutes to get these sketched up… Roxy, do you have shorts with you?”

“Shoot, I didn’t think about that.” I run a hand through my hair. “How about I run and buy you something to put on while River’s drawing everything up?”

“Am I safe here without you?” Roxy whispers.

She knows how dangerous it can be for her to be with a rival club. She was raised in this life and it makes things a little easier for me.

“Yeah, baby. River will protect you. There’s a store right across the street. You’re safer here with River than you are going into that store with me.”

“I’ve got her. No one will touch one of my clients.” River nods his head. He understands the predicament I'm in.

“I’ll be back in a few. Put the sweatshirt back on.” I press a soft kiss to her lips before disappearing out the door.

Chapter 16

Roxy

I fidget uncomfortably as soon as Chopper leaves. It’s times like this I wish I wasn’t a Savage princess. I wish I didn’t know what a dangerous situation this could mean for me. I’d rather be oblivious.

“Do you want to go into my office? Would that make you more comfortable?” River glances up from his drawing.

“No, I'm fine.” I fold my arms across my chest and glare at the men watching me. I refuse to be weak and hide in an office. I also want to know when Chopper gets here.

It makes me nervous having him in another club’s territory and not having another Savage Wolf with him.

“Can I add something to my tattoo?”

“Yeah, what are you thinking?”

I explain what I want and River nods along with it. He says he can handle that and goes back to his work.

“I can't believe he’s actually tattooing his left chest,” River murmurs under his breath a few minutes later.

He’s leaning over the counter with his black hair hanging down. It’s not nearly as long as Chopper’s or Storm’s hair. It’s cut close on the sides, but is longer on top. He has a black beard, but it’s kept short and neat too. He doesn’t really look like a biker. If he didn’t have his own cut on, I probably wouldn’t believe he was part of a club.

“What do you mean?”

River lifts his head to look at me. His brows furrow for a moment like he doesn’t know what I'm talking about, then they smooth out.

“He’s been keeping his left chest free of ink for years. He said he wanted it for something special. He wanted it for his future wife.”
