He parted her lips wider and let his tongue flicker against hers. Spit merged with spit. Organs against organ. It was messy and complicated, but felt so right.

The kiss deepened, knocking the air from her lungs. He was suddenly all she cared about. All she wished to understand and uncover.

A raw heat blanketed in the passion of the kiss. A kiss she felt so ignited by. The type she’d only ever read about in books and heard about in tales of the Flames when they were together. It was the sort of kiss Leela knew she’d remember forever.

Their tongues tangled as Rajesh grasped her hips and hoisted her onto the edge of the pool, lips briefly leaving hers.

Leela’s head spun, her insides churning with uncontrollable hunger, fueled only by his touch. She grabbed his arms, feeling the heaving biceps as they lifted her.

Rajesh held her gaze as he grasped her hips, as if to hold her steady.

Her body responded in ways she was unsure of, but she let it. She let the primal urges rush through her as he lowered his face between her legs. His lips started at her knee, working their way up along her thigh, and paused at her nether region.

Leela tensed. Heat traveled along her skin with each of his breaths against her. She tipped her head back as she reveled in his touch and soaked in the bliss swimming in her veins. Her pulse quickened the harder he descended. With each stroke of his tongue, she felt herself growing wetter and wetter, each moan a string of ecstasy.

Rajesh met her gaze again. “You can tell me to stop if you need to.”

Leela shook her head. It was too late to go back. The smell of him consumed her, urging her to find release. Her body needed him. Needed him to please her. To put out the flames writhing within her.

Rajesh put a hand on her hip and another against her thigh, spreading her legs wider so he could flick his tongue against her bud.

Leela’s back arched, her body giving in to the touch. Her breath caught in her throat as Rajesh’s tongue continued to work with the sensation swelling between her legs. Pleasure cast every thought and doubt from her mind as she focused on him. His tongue moved in precise circles, his hand on her thigh gripping tighter as her body reacted to the pressure blossoming at his touch. The urge to grab him and deepen the movement drew her eyes to his. She raked her gaze over his frame, his broadened shoulders, his arms holding her steady, and the slight curling of locks in front of his face as he smiled.

She came undone in that moment.

“Easy, damiji.”

She would not lay down easily. She needed more.

Needed her release as she imagined the last few years and the current state of events between them vanishing.

A flicker of an image of a dagger being driven into his spine made her falter, and she wondered if this was still the right thing to do. It would be so easy to kill a vulnerable man while he was too busy pleasuring her.

Leela shivered, and she let out a shaky breath along with the thought of killing Rajesh. The shiver intensified as he moved his hand from her hip to her breast, his thumb stroking her aroused nipple. Leela writhed, tuning into the touch. The sensation. The need.

She felt him smile against her skin. Her fingers pulled at his curls, urging him deeper. She needed to focus instead of the looming issues of the Viperess.

“I guess I’ve found a way to make you ignite,” Rajesh said.

Leela looked at him between her thighs. “I guess you have.”

In one swift motion, Rajesh pulled her back into the water, crashing his lips against hers once more. His tongue found hers, pushing into her mouth and grazing at her teeth. She tasted what he had done to her, and she moaned louder.

“You’re a tease…” she said. Leela pressed closer to his body, feeling all of him. She snaked her hands down his chest, feeling every muscle of his tighten. She loved what she did to him—her fingertips a brush, and his skin her canvas she wished to paint with pleasure.

“You finally gave in,” Leela whispered.

“It was a war I was always going to lose, damiji.”

Her body melted against his, his words and breath too hot for her to handle. She wanted to give him everything. To be whatever he needed. To do whatever was needed to stay in this moment longer.

So she did.

She hoisted herself back onto the edge, urging him to follow. She lay back against the cool stone and let the sun twinkle as he roamed over her. All she needed was him to keep going and never let this moment end.

Leela leaned forward, cupped his cheek, and pulled him down. A rush of warmth flooded into her, coursing through her veins. Her skin burned at his touch.

Their next kiss was a rush of desire and temptation all in one. He tasted like blissful betrayal, but he was right. Who was to say this was wrong if it felt so right?
