So that was the whimper. “But…”
Andres caressed my chin. “But nothing, hon. Giving head is what I love doing, and I couldn’t help it.” He kissed me. “That was amazing. Thank you.” He buckled his pants, then left the room.
I walked to the bathroom and splashed some water on my face. God. That was the most amazing sexual experience of my life. I’d been sucked before by women to see if I liked it, but I never did. Every time I came, I had to think of a man. But today…
Fuck. That was intense.
The door opened behind me, and I watched Esteban through the mirror.
I froze, then took a trembling breath and turned. Why was he here?
I leaned against the basin and held on to it.
He pocketed his hands in his black jeans, then looked around the empty bathroom and settled his gaze on me. His Adam’s apple bobbed. “Everything all right?”
My face was incredibly hot. “Yeah.”
He cleared his throat. “Did he…?” He shifted on his feet. “Treat you right?”
I nodded. “He did.”
Esteban raked his hair back. “Okay.” There was a hint of concern in his voice.
I walked toward him. “I’m okay, Esteban. Sorry for earlier.”
He shook his head. “There’s nothing to be sorry about. You were right.” He tipped his head toward the exit. “Want to grab something to eat?”
What did he mean by “You were right”?
I massaged my nape. “Sure.” I followed him.
My head was a mess. I really liked Esteban, but he was an enigma. If he wanted me, why let another take me? Why stay and watch me go?
Raúl patted my back, grinning widely as I approached the bar. “How did it go? Andres is good, right?”
Esteban turned a menacing stare toward Raúl.
“Man, you need to relax. Andres is a nice guy. You should be happy he was the one who initiated your protégé.”
So that was all I was to him. My stomach fell.
Raúl came closer. “You’re the first guy Esteban ever brought to a bar. His meetings are always casual.” He shrugged. “I’m surprised he let Andres take you back there. I’ve never seen him that worked up before.”
I squinted toward Esteban, who was paying the bill. “Worked up?”
Raúl watched him. “Yeah. His gaze followed you into that room and stayed fixed until you came out again. For ten whole minutes, he stood here paralyzed. I even asked him to dance, which he never turns down, but he said I should go and kept waiting.”
My mind went blank. I couldn’t follow my thoughts. Was Esteban worried, mad at me, or did he like me? He’d kept his distance in the apartment, giving me space. He even invited Raúl, which convinced me this wasn’t a date.
“Let’s go.” Esteban put his wallet in his front pocket, and we followed him out.
The night went smoothly after that. Between jokes and laughs about Esteban, Raúl made the time go fast.
We said our goodbyes to Raúl, then went on our way.
When we entered the apartment, it was already 2:00 a.m.
“Coffee?” Esteban asked.
