“Look, shawty,” he groaned. “If you called me to talk about this bullshit, I’m finna hang up.”
“I didn’t. I’m just saying. If you really ain’t care, why the fuck you send me all them videos and pictures?”
A long sigh came through the phone.
“Man, I only sent that shit ’cause you asked for it. It wasn’t ’cause I wanted her back or no shit like that. I ain’t finna chase nobody. She’s happy, so I’ma let her be happy. Yeah, that shit hurt, but I ain’t about to force nobody to be with me.”
I laughed under my breath.
“I guess you’re lame.”
“Call me whatever you want, shawty. I just ain’t about to sit around moping over a bitch that don’t want me.”
“Well… I’m still posting them videos.”
He laughed.
“Aight. When she beats your ass, don’t call me, crying.”
“How she gon’ beat my ass? You the one that sent me the damn videos.”
The first person Sianni was gon’ think about was him, and I was perfectly fine with that. As long as it didn’t lead back to me, I wasn’t tripping.
“She gon’ know it’s you.”
“No, she isn't.” I shook my head. “She knows the only people with those videos are you and her. She ain’t gon’ be thinking about me. She’s coming straight for your ass.”
“I guess, shawty.” He let out another sigh. “Anything else?”
“Nawl.”
“Aight then. Good luck… and don’t say I ain’t warn you.”
The call disconnected.
I rolled my eyes and tossed my phone onto the couch. A second later, the front door swung open. Marissa’s loud-ass laugh echoed through the house before she walked in with that lil’ piece of a husband trailing behind her.
Something about that nigga rubbed me the wrong way. I couldn’t put my finger on it, but every time I looked at him, something just felt off.
He barely glanced my way before heading upstairs. Marrissa kicked off her shoes, walked over, and plopped beside me on the couch.
“What’s wrong with you, girl?” She cut her eyes at me, her forehead wrinkling. “You over here looking like you done lost your damn puppy.”
I looked away. I wasn’t too sure if I wanted to tell her what I’d just seen in the blogs. This hoe was already crazy as hell, and if she found out people were saying Sianni might be pregnant? Lord, this bitch was liable to lose her fucking mind.
“Nothing.” I waved her off with a shake of my head.
“Bitch…” She let out a dry laugh. “Why you lying?”
She leaned forward, resting her elbows on her knees.
“I know we ain’t best friends or nothing, but I’ve been around yo’ ass long enough to know when you full of shit. So, what the fuck is going on?”
I looked over at her.
“You really wanna know?”
“Hell yeah.”
