“Do you compete in everything you do?” Leni asked.

As the others chatted, Flynn leaned closer to Sutton, putting his hand on her leg beneath the table. “You looked great out there. Are you having fun?”

“So much fun,” she said.

“Of course she’s having fun,” Noah interrupted. “She was dancing with me. Sutton, we make a great team. We should do more stuff together. You like to explore, right? We should go on an adventure sometime.”

“That could be fun, Sutton,” Leni urged. “You love adventures.”

Are you fucking kidding me?

Sutton stole a glance at Flynn, her eyes dancing with mischief, then turned those gorgeous eyes on his younger brother. “What kind of adventure do you have in mind?”

Flynn ground his back teeth.

“The best kind,” Noah promised. “Where we explore and discover new things about each other, like what floats our boats, new kinks, you know. All the fun stuff.”

Flynn’s hand curled into a fist. “Her schedule is booked for the show.”

“Not every day,” Sutton said coyly. She leaned her elbow on the table, resting her chin in her hand, gazing at Noah. “Where would we go?”

“Someplace where your only predator is of the handsome two-legged variety.” Noah smiled smugly. “Well, some might say three-legged.”

Victory barked out a laugh. “Does that line ever work for you?”

“That was pretty bad, Noah,” Seth agreed.

“Give me a break, Seth. You know the Braden curse is not an urban legend,” Noah said.

“Oh yeah?” Sutton stole another glance at Flynn with a challenge in her eyes. “Does that mean you’re packing an anaconda? Because I saw one of those in the rainforest, and they’re mighty impressive.”

Flynn eyed her. What kind of game are you playing?

“Now I’m curious. Are all Bradens created equally?” Leni asked, her sharp gaze moving around the table.

“Some of us are better at exploring than others,” Flynn gritted out.

“Yeah, except you were always more interested in playing in the dirt with creatures than getting down and dirty with women,” Clay chimed in. “Leni, to answer your question, some of us are more experienced where it counts.”

“Says the man who has always been more interested in playing with his own balls,” Seth said.

The girls cracked up.

“I know I’ve been out of the dating game for a long time, but is this what flirting has turned into?” Victory flipped her brown hair over her shoulder. “Going straight from dancing to kinks?”

“The world just keeps getting better,” Noah said.

“Now you understand why I had pretty much given up on men before Raz and I got together,” Leni said.

“It’s a shit show out there,” Sutton said. “You can only fake it until you make it for so long before giving up.”

“There’s no faking it with me.” Noah winked.

“Sounds like I’m not missing much,” Victory said.

“Didn’t you say that one of your clients offered to fly you out to Bali on his private plane?” Seth asked.

Victory rolled her eyes. “Yes, and he’s a total player. I have no patience for that. What happened to regular guys who do crossword puzzles and like to have quiet dinners?”
