Let the kids roll, toss, and chase pumpkins across the green!
(Parents: please supervise. No full-contact rolling.)
Halloween Safety Reminders
Use reflective gear after dark
Check candy before consumption
Stick to well-lit areas
And remember: costumes should be fun, not hazardous
We want everyone to enjoy a safe, sweet night—no tricks, only treats.
Friendsgiving at the Clubhouse
Saturday evening after Thanksgiving
Bring a dish, bring a friend, and bring your appetite. Friendsgiving is all about sharing warmth, gratitude, and maybe a little too much pie.
Sign-up sheets will be posted soon. Please label allergens—and portions you’re especially proud of.
Cider Tasting Night
Fall is here, and Morningwood is ready to get pressed. Join us at the clubhouse for a hands-on exploration of hard and soft ciders featuring pours that are sweet, dry, bold, and surprisingly strong.
Take your time exploring different bodies and notes. Swirl, sniff, sip, and don’t be shy about discussing mouthfeel, strength, and length of finish. This judgment-free zone is a space for honest opinions and adventurous palates. Some ciders go down easy; others have a kick that lingers. Pace yourself accordingly.
Light snacks will be provided to help absorb excess enthusiasm, and water stations will be available to prevent overindulgence or… sloppy endings. Please remember: consent is key—know your limits, arrange a safe ride home, and leave the tasting satisfied, not embarrassed.
Morningwood encourages responsible enjoyment and a thorough appreciation of everything a good cider has to offer.
Decorative Guidelines (Yes, Again)
While we admire enthusiasm, please remember:
No more than SIX inflatable decorations per yard
This includes seasonal, spooky, festive, or politically expressive inflatables
Excessive inflation is a violation.
From the Editor’s Desk
Autumn reminds us that change can be beautiful—even necessary. So rake those leaves, secure your locks, mind your nuts, and join us in making Morningwood a place that stays warm, welcoming, and just a little cheeky.
Keep rising. Keep shining. And as always—handle your decorations responsibly.
Warm regards,
