“I’ll go pack,” Sasha said and left.

Cade looked amused.

“What’s funny?”

“Sasha didn’t unpack anything. She’s giving us a chance to discussion the situation.”

“I should call Zane. We need another hotel.”

“Not one in Harmony.”

Matt agreed with him. They should find a place outside Harmony, close enough to be convenient, but far enough away to make tracking them down a hassle.

He called his friend as the suite’s in-house phone rang. Cade answered the hotel phone.

“Yeah, Murphy.”

“It’s Matt. I need a favor.”

A pause, then, “Go.”

“I want another hotel with a suite available, preferably in a town outside Harmony. Use one of my aliases to make the reservation.”

“Trouble?”

“Oh, yeah.” He summarized the events of the evening. “I also need you to find out if my identity has been compromised. I know you have bots scour for mention of our names on the Net, but I need to be sure my work isn’t the cause of Delilah’s problems.”

“Everybody okay?”

“No injuries. Scared Delilah on top of losing her mother.”

The sound of the keyboard clicking could be heard on the phone’s speaker. “West Fork is forty minutes from Harmony. I’ve reserved a suite for you at River’s Edge Hotel. Room’s reserved in the name of Mark Ross.”

“Thanks, Z.”

“Yep. Want me to reroute Delilah’s phone to the new hotel?”

Cade handed him a note and left the suite.

He scanned it. “The package just arrived at the front desk. Perfect timing, Zane.”

“Huh. That was faster than the courier service promised. I’ll make a note of it. If they’re always this good, they may become our exclusive courier. I sent information on Delilah’s family to your email. Look at the files when you have a chance.”

Cade returned to the suite, a small box in his hand. Matt pulled out a phone identical to his aside from the cover. His lips quirked. Where had Zane found a phone cover decorated with candles?

Delilah’s door opened and she walked out with her bag in hand. “I’m ready.”

“I’ll check on Sasha,” Cade murmured.

Matt took Delilah’s bag and set it next to his bags. “Zane sent your phone.” He checked her contact list and had to smile. “He’s already added my number and the rest of Bravo’s numbers along with his and Brent Maddox’s.”

Her jaw dropped. “Why would he include phone numbers for him and your boss?”

“You’re part of my life now and Fortress supports those we care about. If you need anything and you can’t reach me, start down the list of my teammates. If they can’t be reached, call Zane or Brent. They’ll help you.”

“I don’t know what to say.”

Matt handed her the phone. “Check out the cover Zane found for you.”
