Aaron Cahill got to his feet and gripped his son’s shoulders. “Josh?”

He blinked. “What?”

“Is Del all right?”

“She’s fine.”

Delilah held her breath.

“What about the baby, son?” Liz asked.

“They’re fine.”

Silence fell on the room.

“They?” His mother moved a step closer.

“Twin girls.”

Ethan Blackhawk burst into laughter. “Oh, man. This will be fun to watch.”

Rod Kelter dragged a hand down his face, then turned to look at his wife, Megan. “We may have to revisit the idea of having kids. They’re coming in batches now. Our luck, we’ll have triplets.”

Meg scowled. “Bite your tongue, Kelter. Serena, Maddie, and I terrorized Josh when we were growing up. I’m not riding herd on a pack of girls like us.”

Nick Santana shook his head, a wide grin on his face. “I feel sorry for Josh’s daughters’ boyfriends. I bet he runs background checks on the boys.”

Josh scowled. “There won’t be any boys until my daughters are 30 years old.”

After the general laughter died down and everyone congratulated Josh, Cade and Sasha took Delilah home with them. When Delilah crawled into bed in Sasha’s guest room, she fell asleep immediately.

Sasha woke her at nine with breakfast in bed.

Delilah shoved her hair away from her face. “You didn’t have to do this.”

“You deserve to be spoiled today.”

“Have you heard anything about Del and the babies?”

Her friend grinned. “They’re all doing great.”

“Do you know the names of the girls?”

“Erin Amaryllis and Eve Camellia.”

Delilah’s jaw dropped. “Wow. Big names for little girls.”

“Del kept the family tradition of giving her daughters flower names.”

“She and Josh are going to call them Erin and Eve, right? I can’t imagine being in first grade and trying to spell Amaryllis and Camellia.”

“That’s the plan. Matt called a few minutes ago to check on you. He said to tell you he loves you and can’t wait to see you this afternoon.” Sasha handed Delilah a mug of tea. “That man is crazy about you.”

“The feeling is mutual. The next five hours are going to drag.”

Another smile from her friend. “I don’t think so. Hurry up and eat. We have an appointment at the spa on the outskirts of town in thirty minutes.”

“Are you kidding? That place has a waiting list a mile long.”
