Ethan smiled. “So, are you just going to continue to playwith her, or are you eventually going to take her and make her yours?”

It was risky to return to the same person’s house multiple times. They never knew if they were being watched by their enemy.

Matthias shrugged his shoulders. “She wouldn’t survive in this world.”

“Fair. You could just keep her locked in your room. I’ll probably be doing that with Margery.”

“Maybe,” Matthias didn’t sound interested.

They fell into silence for a couple of minutes. Ethan couldn’t wait to have Margery in his house.

“When does the shipment of girls arrive?” Matthias asked.

“In a couple of days.”

“Rogan onto us?”

Ethan shook his head. “He gave up a while ago. Probably figured he could get to the girls before we did. But they were long gone before he arrived.”

“Fucking bastard.”

“He wants a meeting.”

“What fucking for? That slimy piece of shit.”

Ethan smiled. Everyone in the Montgomery Syndicate hated Rogan and his men. He had tried to hijack several of their shipments and other operations. He had also killed two of his men.

“Wants to meet with me. I think he has Bon,” Ethan sighed. “Going to meet with him in a week. You, Dahmere, Jason, and Clinton will be coming with me.”

“Sounds good to me. Just let me know when and where.”

Ethan’s phone went off, and he couldn’t help but smile. It was the ringtone he had whenever Margery moved in her house. He wanted to know her every move, and this allowed it.

He pulled his phone out and watched as Margery stuffed all the stuffed zebras into a bag on the screen before placing it in the corner of the room. Ethan chuckled as she stuck her tongue out at them.

“Let me guess, Margery did something,” Matthias queried as he stood.

“Her Little side was peeking through. Sticking her tongue out at the stuffed zebras I gave her,” Ethan replied.

Ethan couldn’t wait until she was with him, and he could allow her to be Little more often. He’d kept tabs on her since he died and knew she was a Little. He had discovered he was a Daddy a year before he had faked his death. To know she was a Little was absolute perfection.

“When are you moving on to the next phase?” Matthias asked.

“Tonight. The last stuffed zebra will be delivered tonight.”

CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE

MARGERY

Margery had shoved all the stuffed zebras in a bag and put it in the corner. It was getting to her. She was on edge.

The numbers on the last two stuffed zebras were really messing with her. What did they mean? Why was there a1and2on them? Was he counting down to something? She knew the message before was ‘Daddy’s coming for you,’ but he didn’t really mean he was coming for her, right?

She looked at her phone. She really needed to call the police and let them know she had gotten two more. Maybe once they saw the complete message, they would be more inclined to help her.

With that in mind, she grabbed her phone and dialed nine-one-one.

“Officer Matthias.”
