Fuck my life.

TRISTAN

“What the hell, Tristan?” Talon paces the pavement of the parking lot in front of me, raking nervous hands through his dark locks. “We said we weren’t using names!”

I run a hand down my face and force out a breath to keep my own frustration contained.

“Don’t you think I know that?” I grit out.

Talon continues fussing, but I can barely hear what he’s saying over my own jumbled up thoughts. What thefuckwas I thinking? It’s not like this was the first time we’d gone to Purgatory. We never make this kind of mistake—Inever make these kinds of mistakes. Talon and I can’t afford them.

“Did you hear what I said?” Tay exclaims as he snaps his fingers in front of my face.

I blink and focus my gaze on him. “What?”

“Sheknowsus.”

Three simple words have never held so much weight. My brain wants to reject the idea, but I know that I can’t. I can still see the horror and disgust that filled her gaze after I said Tay’s name, but it was the recognition that shined the brightest.

Shedefinitelyknows us.

I sigh deeply and lean against the side of my BMW. We’ll be fucked if it gets out my brother and I are involved in sex clubs, and that we’ve bought a woman’s virginity. As heirs to the biggest real estate company in the city, everyone knows our family. If the woman we were with actually knows us, a scandal like that will be bad for business.

“We don’t know that,” I finally say when Talon continues watching me expectantly. He scoffs in response.

“You saw the way she fucking reacted, dude.” He shakes his head as he rubs his temples. “And you used my nickname, which not too many people know unless they’re close to us.”

The worry in his eyes reflects how I also feel. He’s painfully fucking right.

“Fuck,” I hiss under my breath.

I push off the side of my car and pace the pavement, my mind moving a million miles a second. How could I have been so fucking careless? I try to think of who the woman could possibly be, but draw a blank. It’s obviously not a woman I’ve slept with before, since she was a virgin. The longer I stand here, the more I wish I would have forced her to take her mask off. She said her safe word right when I reached for her, ending the opportunity to reveal her identity.

And not recognizing her is dangerous.

I force myself to try to remember if she has any tattoos or distinguishing marks, but the only things I can conjure up are the steamy memories I have of her. I can remember those big doe eyes looking up at me while she swallowed my cock, tears glittering on her lash lines like pretty sparkling diamonds. I can recall how soft and warm her skin felt when I dug my fingers into her hips. Goosebumps rise on my arms at the memory of her tight, soaking wet pussy squeezing my cock as her pained yet lustful whimpers imprinted on my mind.

“Can you fucking focus?” Talon snaps.

I grind my teeth and tuck the heated memories away in order to focus.

“I’m thinking,” I reply in a huff. “She doesn’t look all that familiar. We don’t know anyone with purple hair, do we?”

“What if it’s a wig?” he muses.

“You ran your fingers through it. I’m sure you know what a wig feels like.” I press the heels of my palms against my eyes for a moment before dropping my arms with a sigh. “We need to talk to Lucian. He’ll know who she is.”

“Do you think he’ll actually give us that information?” Talon lifts a brow. “You know how he is about client privacy.”

I shrug. Lucian’s confidentiality agreement is one of the best things about this place, one that allows us to remain protected whenever we decide to have a little fun. But desperate times call for desperate measures.

“Once we explain the situation to him, I’m sure he’ll understand and make an exception,” I say. I can only hope that our relationship with him will work in our favor. As long as the woman remains a mystery, we’re at risk of being exposed.

The last thing we need is to have our dad on our ass about “corrupting the family reputation.”

Talon and I make our way back into the club. We weave through the people milling about on the main level as we make our way to the hallway holding the offices. My feet move on autopilot to Lucian’s office, Talon knocking firmly on the door when we approach it.

“It’s open!” Lucian calls out from the other side. Talon looks at me, and I nod, both of us entering the office. Lucian does a double take when he realizes it’s us, his eyebrows raising a little in surprise.
