And Asa felt that overwhelming rush of pure excitement and pride and love take over his entire body.

She strutted down the length of the stage, wearing a black, lace body suit, with strategic cutouts. Her body was insane in its strength and beauty. Her long, black hair hung wild and free over her shoulders and down her back.

And that voice.

That voice would forever be the sound of freedom to him.

Amazing didn’t cover it. So far, he hadn’t been able to find the right words to describe her or how fun she made their life. But he’d keep trying.

Because writing had come back to him and it had stayed. He could write by himself, or with others, or with her. He’d been nominated for an award at the upcoming NMAs for a song he’d written with Shawn Torres. He was currently working on a song with Nash Ellis that was going to make people feel their feelings.

And he was happy.

Life with Zara wasn’t a normal life.

It was better.

Because it was theirs.

And there she was, night one of a tour that was sure to catapult her further into the stratosphere.

And he wassothere for every second of it.

EPILOGUE

ZARA LORNA HAS SECRET WEDDING IN CHICAGO

Zara Lorna is married!

The singer, 26, wed Asa Young during a ceremony at a private estate in Chicago, Ill., on Saturday, a source tells CELEBX.Several entertainment outlets reported the news over the weekend but without any details.

Many of the couple's famous friends were spotted in the Windy City for the wedding, including Lorna's frequent collaborator Sunshine Capone and his wife Sabine, as well as Nash Ellis and Abram Fletcher.

Phones were confiscated at the door and few details have leaked. The guest list was small, with only close friends and family. One source who has asked to remain anonymous said security was tight but the guests didn’t seem to mind. Everyone was laughing and dancing well into the night. Rumors have circulated that the bride and groom wrote their own vows and there was an impromptu performance from Shawn Torres and Ashton James.

Representatives for both Lorna and Young did not immediately respond to CelebX’s request for comment.

Sneak Peek of Code of Conductby April White

I intimidate people. It’s one of my superpowers.

I learned the benefits of intimidation early. When I was thirteen, I was five feet-nine inches tall and could wield a well-timed glare like a weapon. Now in my late twenties and six-one, I had bravado, athletic ability, and superior survival skills to add to my arsenal of intimidating glares.

I also had a pretty badass array of prosthetic legs with cool functions and Swiss Army-type gadgets at my disposal, but most of my clients didn’t realize they were getting Black Widow with an Iron Man leg when they hired me. And monogamy-impaired Chicagoans certainly had no idea who was coming for them.

Another superpower, my private investigator’s license, added a little extra steel to my spine, which also helped disguise the limp that no amount of carefully-weighted titanium could erase.
