“Can you see what that Benny O’Donovan looks like? Because that”—she points to the projector—“is a bit of me.” I bring my hand to my mouth, trying to stifle the giggle that leaves me as I turn her body slightly and point at the old man whose gut hangs over his belt and is bald besides a few gray hairs left on his head.

“That’s Benny, babes. I think you have a chance.” I pause, eyeing her up and down and shrug. “Maybe.” She punches my arm, letting out a huff.

“Where’s all the young rich men at. It’s the only reason I’m here tonight.” I look at her wide-eyed. “And to support a great cause.” She follows up quickly.

Bridge is up there for a while going through all the donations. Some take my and Toni’s breaths away. Each person that donates, Toni scopes out, and I can see she already has her eyes set on one person. Boh even participated and won three nights on another yacht, smaller than the one Benny donated, but still stunning.

“Now this one is a favorite of mine. This has been donated by unknown.” Bridge frowns. “We would all like to thank you but whoever you are, we appreciate this.”

A stunning log cabin surrounded by mountains and trees lights up the screen. There are some pictures of it in daylight, and it’s a complete dream, but when more pictures slide along to show it at night, it’s breathtaking. Christmas lights surround the front as it sits in snow. It’s like something out of a movie, like a fairytale cabin.

“This donation is extremely generous, it’s for a week’s stay in this gorgeous lodge. I think this causes for the bidding to start at 6000 dollars. Wow, what a dream that wou—”

“Six thousand.” That gruff voice I know all too well, that was whispering the most sinful things in my ear not even an hour ago.

“Holy. Fucking. Shit,” Toni whispers next to me. I glance at Cash looking up at the stage. Bridge stares at him wide-eyed with a huge smile on her face.

“My brother doesn’t mess around.” She jokes. “Will anyone beat that; can I get 7000 dollars?”

“Seven thousand,” a quiet voice breaks through.

“Is he fucking kidding?” Toni laughs. I look up and it’s Benny. “He would have a heart attack just walking up the stairs to the cabin.

“Toni,” I hiss as a woman spins on her feet and scowls at Toni.

Toni shrugs. “What, it’s true.” She stares the woman in the face. The woman shakes her head and turns back around.

“Ten thousand,” Cash’s voice booms through.

“Well, well, wellllll . . . Daddy really wants you up in those mountains,” Toni whispers.

“My brother clearly has good taste,” Bridget says through the microphone.

“Benny, do we hear a 11,000?” Benny shakes his head.

“Going once, going twice. Well done, Cash,” Bridget shouts while everyone claps. My gaze finds Cash. His stare heats up every inch of me and says a thousand words. I glance down.

“My nipples are actually erect from that stare. My god the sexual tension could slice through fucking stone,” Toni whispers.

“Stop,” I hiss. She chuckles next to me.

“Tonight has been entertaining, and it’s about to get a whole lot more exciting for me.” She raises her eyebrows with a smirk. I frown at Toni, what is she talking about.

“Now,” Bridget says on the mic, giving everyone a devilish smirk. “We are changing things up this year. We are doing something a little different.”What is she up to?

“Now this is what I’ve been waiting for.” I swing my gaze to Toni, narrowing my eyes at her.

“What are you talking about?”

“Didn’t Bridget ask—” She stops herself. “Of course, she wouldn’t.” She drops her head. “They are auctioning off people this year.”

“They’re what?” I say, shocked. They have never done this before.

“It’s just a bit of fun, someone can bid to have a date with you, that’s it. It’s all for a good cause.” Toni winks at me, then turns her gaze back to the stage with a big grin.

“I’m assuming you are a part of it.” I raise one eyebrow at her.

“Do dogs bark?” she deadpans. “You know this is right up my alley. Hopefully a rich daddy whisks me away to Bali for the weekend.” She elbows me in the side. “Keep those fingers crossed for me, my girl,” she whispers. I laugh while turning back to the stage. She will need all the luck she can get because at least sixty percent of the men are over the age of sixty in this room, and not the hot kind either.
