Two months later
“Con, you can’t just move in here?”
“I’m tired of living in that big ass house by myself. I miss you guys being there.”
“That’s sweet, like, really sweet. But you can’t live here forever.”
“Why the hell not? You lived at my place.”
“But, this house is too small for all of us.”
“How? I room with you. I don’t take up much space.”
“You’re taking up all my closet space. I had to put some of my stuff in granny’s closet.”
“If you move back into my house, we wouldn’t have this problem.”
“I see what you’re trying to do. It’s not going to work. You even got my niece complaining about the kitchen size.”
“Your kitchen is really small.”
“Your kitchen is too big.”
“Let’s comprise and find a place with a medium size kitchen.”
“Ugh,” Criss groaned as she dried off.
“I’m starting to think you don’t want me here.”
“That’s not it.”
“Then what is it?”
“We work together, we live together. I see you all the time.”
“You’re the one who insisted on returning to the club.”
“You’re the one who said you needed help with the books. You sounded all sad and pitiful. I should’ve known you was tricking me. And you pay me too much.”
“Who complains about something like that?”
“It’s not right.”
“You need money to open your store.”
“But still…”
“Since you won’t let me write you a check, I found a loop hole. Don’t be mad at me for being a genius.”
“You suck,” Criss pouted.
“I’m going to suck, on you tonight.”
“That’s why you let the kids use your house tonight for a sleep over, just so you could have your way with me.”
“You know me so well. They have Delilah and granny there to watch over them. Yury is there to take them wherever they need to go. They’re set for the entire weekend. And since you and I are on vacation from the club, we have the whole house to ourselves for tonight. And tomorrow, I’m taking you to Barbados.”
