Peter circled a figure on the screen with his finger. “Guys, that might be Jordan. He’s at the corner of Hammond street and Cabot.”

“All right.” I stepped to my left, placing my hand against the wall panel. I watched as the secret room appeared from behind the office wall. I darted inside, pulling the black bullet proof vest over my head. Snatching a blue flannel shirt off the corner hook, I shrugged on the soft material.

“Ethan, let me.” She began buttoning the shirt. I loaded two Glocks before slipping on the brown leather waistband holster.

“You have a large array of wigs to choose from.” She grinned. “Which are you wearing this evening?”

“The short red wig.”

Malaysia grabbed a nude stocking cap out of one of the shallow drawers. I bent over, allowing her to adjust the cap over my hair. She pulled the red wig snug over the cap. I placed the earbuds into each ear then tossed the weapons, gas mask, bullets, a few smoke bombs, and medical supplies into an oversized duffel bag.

“Walk me to the door.” I intertwined our fingers.

I tapped a button. The wall closed after Malaysia and I exited. “Peter, I’ll talk to you once I’m on the streets.”

“Be safe, brother.”

“I’ll do my best.”

Malaysia and I walked into the living room.

“One second, Ethan.” She ran into the kitchen, returning a minute later.

I grabbed my black leather jacket from the closet, shrugging it on.

“Ethan, there is coffee in the thermos just the way you like it. Two turkey sandwiches, and three bottles of water.” She crouched down and placed the items inside the duffel bag resting on the floor.

She placed the heavy bag on my arm. Her soft hands palmed my face. “I need you to come back to me. We are just starting our relationship. I won’t forgive myself if something happens to you because of my brother,” she cried.

I lifted Malaysia off her feet, hugging her tight. “I will do my best, beautiful.”

I placed Malaysia on her feet slamming my lips into hers. Tenderly, I massaged her back as I slipped my tongue deep inside her mouth. I needed to be on my way.

I stepped back, staring into her eyes. “I will see you later.” I pulled my black cap low.

“Bye, Ethan.”

I rushed out of the door.
