It was barely 6 a.m. and I already couldn’t wait to go to sleep tonight. Sex before bed always tired me out. And yes, I considered what Kelly and I had done to be sex.

When Kelly had woken me up at 5 a.m., we’d taken turns in the shower, grabbed coffee from the café in her B&B, then headed to the shoot—in separate cars, of course.

Lani had taken one look at me with my wet hair and bags under my eyes and declared that she would be coming to do my hair and makeup after she finished with Kelly. I took advantage of the alone time in my makeshift dressing room to get some extra z’s.

At 7:30, it was time to start shooting.

As usual, Leonard and Lani were present, but this time, so was Paloma. She was the very first author from the boxed set, who we’d met three weeks ago at the mixer. So it was only fitting she’d be with us for the last shoot.

“Hi, guys!” she said, walking up to me, Lani, and Leonard. At the same time, Kelly finally stepped on to the stage. We were shooting at a local stage theater today.

Immediately, my eyes were drawn to her. I could still smell her tantalizing scent from sleeping next to her all night.

“Hey,” I replied belatedly, still focused on the most beautiful girl in the room.

“I just wanted to have a few words with you all, regarding today’s photo shoot,” Paloma continued, drawing my full attention. “This is our last shoot, and it’s a big one. A lot of us write sensuous, erotic books so they’ll be some outfit, hair, and bedding changes to make sure we have different variations for the catalogue.”

“Okay,” I said, not seeing what the big deal was. So, we had a long day of shooting ahead of us. That just meant more time with Kelly.

Paloma cleared her throat awkwardly. When she spoke again, she did so slowly, as if she was choosing her words carefully.

“As I said, we write some pretty steamy, borderline raunchy stuff…and…so if you guys could make it as sexy as possible, and as genuine as possible…make it look like you’re really in the throes of passion…that would be spectacular.”

Ah. She wanted us to make it look good, real, like we were actually having sex.

Kelly’s eyes met mine and she smiled, which drew one from me as well.

“No problem,” I said.

“We’ve got this,” Kelly said at the same time.

Paloma bounced her gaze back and forth between the two of us, once again wearing that I’m-going-to-swoon-any-second-now expression.

“Great!” she exclaimed, clapping her hands together. “Let’s do this, then!”

When it was all said and done, we shot from 7:30 a.m. to well after 10 p.m. This was by far the hardest shoot for me personally. Not work-wise, of course, because I mean, who wouldn’t want to get paid to shoot with a hot girl in a bed, while emulating the act of having sex? No, it was hard because I was constantly hard.

Kelly was topless underneath the silk sheets and the lacy panties she wore might as well have been gone too. Her pussy was so wet, the juices from it soaked clean through. Lying on top of her, between her legs, kissing her, licking along her collarbone and neck, had gotten me pretty worked up. And I’d stayed worked up for the duration of the shoot.

It didn’t help that she was touching me and stroking me under the sheets, away from prying eyes, and of course, I’d returned the gesture. Let’s just say the look of pleasure on both of our faces in those pictures were 100% authentic.

I changed back into the clothes I’d worn to the set, which was the same t-shirt and sweats I’d thrown on to go to Kelly’s hotel room last night. Then, I went to wait out front of the theater for Kelly. Finally, she came out. Her head was down as she walked, texting on her phone. When my own phone vibrated in my pocket, I smiled. She was texting me.

I didn’t bother looking at it; instead, I walked to meet her.

“Hey.”

Her head snapped up and she smiled when she saw that it was me.

“Hi. I was just texting you.” The note of shyness in her voice was cute as shit. Especially because I knew how bold she could get when she had a few drinks in her.

“Oh, yeah? What’d it say?”

We were standing chest to chest—or we would have been if she weren’t so much shorter than me—in the middle of the sidewalk in front of the theater.
