Kelendria

(Kelly)

While I’d been changing into my second outfit of the day, the set had been altered as well. Gone was the gorgeous, monarchical gold throne and the vivid red backdrop. In their place was a neutral off-white backdrop and a large, tan fur rug, which had been draped over the floor.

Interesting, I thought, wondering what poses we were going to do next. Lois and Laine had asked us to sex things up before they’d left, and I wasn’t exactly sure how a fur rug was supposed to help with that.

Jase was at the back of the room, chugging a bottle of water, and Leonard was standing behind his camera, fiddling with the lens.

“Almost ready,” he muttered without looking up. “I just need to get this setting right, since I’ll be doing tight face shots this go round.”

Jase walked over and asked, “What’s tight?” He directed the question to Leonard but was looking directly at me.

I smiled, suppressing the urge to squirm under his gaze. Those striking eyes of his just...did something to me. And I got the distinct impression that Jase Reynolds wanted to do something to me, too. I’m not going to lie, there were things I wanted to do to—no, with him—but this was work. I needed this money too badly to risk any messy entanglements with my co-model.

“The shots,” Leonard responded. “I’m going to have you two lie down on the rug and do some passionate stuff and I’ll be zooming in tight to capture your facial expressions. So make it good.”

Jase grinned like he’d just won the lottery.

“Will do,” he replied, motioning his hand. “After you, my queen.”

Leonard laughed and I shook my head, walking ahead of Jase. Normally, I would have been self-conscious with him walking behind me, but the puffy gown, accentuated by the six ring hoop skirt I wore underneath, literally covered my ass.

Reaching the rug, Jase sank to his knees and held out his hand, helping me to the floor. I laid flat on my back and he laid down on his side, facing me and propping himself up on an elbow. I could feel him staring, so I flicked my eyes over to him. He looked like he didn’t have a care in the world, meanwhile, my heart was racing from being in such close proximity to this fine specimen.

“Comfortable?” I asked.

“Yeah, you?”

The camera shuttered, drawing my attention to Leonard before I could respond.

“Focus on Jase, Kelly!” Leonard instructed. “You guys’ candid photos are some of my best stuff.”

I smiled, looking up into breathtaking emerald green eyes.

“All right,” Leonard said after a few more shots. “Sexy times.”

Jase snorted.

“I think he’s more excited for ‘sexy times’ than me,” he whispered.

I laughed, nodding in agreement.

Jase sat up on his haunches and looked down at me, appearing hesitant to make his next move. I appreciated that he always waited for me to take the lead in our more sexual shots. Most men wouldn’t. They’d be too excited to have an all-access pass to touch and kiss a woman and get paid for it.

“Get on top of me,” I said. It seemed like since we’d been shooting for this catalogue, I’d been saying those words an awful lot.

Eagerly, he shuffled down to my feet. My dress was so voluminous that getting between my legs would require a little finesse. Casting a quick glance up to my face for approval, Jase placed his hands briefly on my stocking-covered ankles before gliding them further up my legs. The dress lifted bit by bit the higher his hands went. I focused on keeping my face neutral. Leonard was still snapping away, so I couldn’t give away what I really felt right now: turned the hell on.

When Jase’s hands reached my upper thighs, where the garter connected the knee-highs and held them in place, I gasped sharply. Him touching my actual skin sent a jolt of electricity through me. My stomach broke out in backflips when his fingers reached the outer edges of my panties. I silently dared him to go further, but to my disappointment, he didn’t. He laid down on top of me, keeping his hand right where it was, sandwiching it between our bodies.

I reached up and caressed the side of his face—for the camera, of course—and said in a low voice, “You shouldn’t have stopped.”

His eyes bored into mine. Our faces were so close I could see the faint flecks of silver around his irises. Not only were his eyes gorgeous, but they were also magical, putting me under some sort of spell. It’s the only explanation for what came out of my mouth next.

“When I said you shouldn’t have stopped, that was an order from your queen.”
