“We who?” I heard her ask as he placed his phone on the counter putting it on speaker to take his shorts off.
Were we really doing this?I asked myself and as if Dom heard the inquiry in my head, he came closer to me and leaned down. He was in my personal space again, too close. He looked at my face as if he was trying to memorize it or something then he whispered in my ear.
“I never abandoned you Roe. You have to believe me.”
“Hellooooooo!” Essy shrieked. “Where is Monroe that she can’t make it to the fitting?”
Dom stood up and walked back to the counter picking up his phone as he spoke.
“She can’t make it. That’s all Essy and we’ll see you tomorrow for the party I’m throwing you and Jared okay?”
“Put that selfish, stupid girl on the phone right now Dominic!”
Dominic’s demeanor changed in the span of a second.
“Are you talking to me like that Essy?”
She cleared her throat.
“No, I’m just saying.” My eyes went wide at the way she recanted her statement, since when did Essy back down?
“Alright then. Like I said, Roe and I will be there tomorrow.”
“Fine, whatever.” She audibly sighed. She was so dramatic.
“And Essy?”
“Yes?” She purred. What the hell? Doesn’t she have a man? A fiancée at that.
“I don’t ever want to hear you call Roe either of those words.”
“But Dom, Sh-.” She didn’t get to finish her sentence because Dom hung up on her.
I scoffed.
“Why’d you hang up on her? I can still go to the fitting.”
“No, you can’t.”
I eyed Dom in his full naked glory and cocked an eyebrow.
“Have you lost your mind talking to me like that Dom? You think because you sexed me up, you can tell me to jump and I ask how high?”
At this, Dom laughed hard. When he was done, he walked over to where I was, got in the tub and moved me forward so he could sit behind me. He gave my shoulder a quick peck and then he whispered in my ear,
“The moment my dick slid inside of you, I owned every aspect of you. Actually, scratch that, I owned you back when we were kids and I own you now. You have and will always be mine, Monroe. Whether you answered my letters, calls or not. For every letter that I sent that you claim you didn’t get, I’m going to show you how angry it got me and what I wanted to do to you because you never got back to me.”
I gasped, goosebumps appearing all over my flesh.
“I told you, I had no idea about all of that.”
His finger came up caressing my skin as he traced my spine from bottom to top.
“I don’t care anymore.”
“I care because you left me.” I replied. I had nothing else to rebuttal with.
I felt his lips on the nape of my neck then his tongue as he licked my neck all the way to my earlobe.
