“Thank you,” she murmured. He sat the tray down on the next chair, where she would be able to reach it. “I took the liberty of grabbing you some fresh fruit and yogurt.”

“That was kind of you.” Her stomach chose that moment to let loose a rumble. She hadn’t eaten yet. Her mind had been focused on getting into the sun. “Can I ask you for a favor?”

“Sure. Anything,” Dave eagerly answered her. His eyes following her hands as she applied the sunscreen to her other leg.

“Can you put sunscreen on my back please?”

“Absolutely.” He rushed to her side, sitting on the chair behind her. She turned away from him so that he would be able to reach her back. She handed him the bottle and undid the ties, exposing her full back. She didn’t want tan lines on her tattoo covered skin.

“I appreciate it. I hate to ask, but I don’t want to burn.” She pulled her hair from off her back and rested the blonde locks over her shoulder, out of his way.

“It’s not a problem.” His warm hands gripped her shoulders as he began spreading the lotion on her back.

“How long have you worked for Mr. Bozovic?” she asked, turning her head slightly. She relaxed as he gently massaged her back while lathering her up with sunscreen.

“It’ll be four years this year,” he murmured, concentrating on the job at hand.

“Do you know where Mr. Bozovic is now?” She hadn’t seen Kole since they boarded the yacht. Things between them were tense right now, but once this was over they would part ways. It was a shame. Everything was ruined. She thought that they would be good together, but quickly learned that her judgment was incorrect.

“He was in the wheelhouse,” Dave replied.

“What is that?” she asked, turning her head toward him. He glanced up and nodded his head. She followed his gaze and found a tinted glass room that overlooked where they were sitting.

“It’s where the captain drives the boat.”

“He’s driving the boat?” she asked, shocked.

“Sometimes,” he said as he finished, rubbing his hands down her back with one last stroke. “All done with your back. Do you need anything else, Ms. Cox?”

“No, I’m good.” She turned to him with a smile.

“Your tattoos are amazing,” he said with a cough, clearing his throat. Uncertainty filled his eyes and she held back a groan. Not being interested, she would have to let him down gently.

“Thank you.” Her ink was always a conversation starter. Her left arm was covered in a complete sleeve, while her back was decorated with a large crucifix.

“I’d love to hear more about them—”

“I believe you have duties elsewhere now.” Kole appeared, his deep, baritone voice causing Dave to jump. He scrambled from his seat and stood to face Kole.

She sucked in a quick breath. Kole stood shirtless in a pair of dark swimming trunks and a dark pair of boat shoes. Her eyes were drawn to the abdominal ridges that lined his body. The sight of him, bare chest showcasing his dark tattoos that lined his chest and arms, made her pussy clench. He may be a gangster and business tycoon, but he certainly took care of himself. The dangerous glint in his eyes had moisture collecting at the apex of her thighs.

“Yes, sir.” Dave nodded and rushed off.

Kole sent her a hard glare and she smirked as she turned to lay down on her stomach. His intimidation tactics were useless on her. It may work on the likes of Dave, but it failed on her. She shifted, getting comfortable as the warm sun beat down on her back.

“You would eat him up whole and spit him out,” Kole stated from where he stood.

“He seemed like such a nice guy,” she murmured, not caring. A jealous Kole did make her heart jump.

“So, you prefer him? I can call him back if you want,” he snapped. She could hear the anger mounting in his voice and she laughed internally. Kole Bozovic was losing his cool.

“No. I would like to get some sun, in peace,” she announced, turning her head away from him. Maybe he would get the point and just leave her be.

“I don’t like this,” he stated.

She rolled her eyes and sat up slightly on her elbows to look at him. She pushed her glasses up on her forehead so that she could see him clearly.

“Don’t like what, Kole? Me speaking to another man?”

“No. I don’t like having to watch another man put his hands on you,” he growled, sitting on the chair Dave had abandoned.

“What were you doing, spying on me?”

“No one puts their hands on what’s mine,” he growled, ignoring her question.

“I don’t belong to you. If I want to have a man put his hands on me, that’s my decision, not yours,” she snapped. His eyes narrowed on her as he leaned in, his nose almost touching hers.

“Well, that’s where you’re wrong,” he growled. “The minute my dick entered your pussy, you became mine.”

“Oh, really? So I take it Candace is yours too? From the sound of it, your dick was in her ass. So what? You’re collecting women? Because believe me, any man that I belong to will have me and me only.”
