To be frank, I wanted to see him and Oscar, too, even though I was exhausted.

“Home sweet home like the humans say,” said Chad, smiling and looking at me.

“Yes,” I said, forcing a small laugh as we walked to the enormous house holding hands. I felt bad that I was lying to them about being fully human. And I was feeling terrible that I lied to my aunt, too. She was working hard at the gas station while I was going to beaches.

It wasn’t a great feeling.

“Damn, it smells good in here,” said Ruston as the doorman opened the door for us. We walked inside, and we all followed the smell of the food to the kitchen.

Seeing Zaff in full chef attire made me smile since it didn’t suit his very intense personality. There was smoke everywhere, and he was barking orders at Oscar to peel the potatoes faster. Oscar didn’t look excited at all being there, and it was comical to see his muscular arms straining as he held a small potato peeler, trying to do a good job.

“Yo,” said Chad, and Zaff spun a full circle, his eyes instantly on me. I felt small and nervous as he smiled at me with a light in his eyes.

I smiled back, and something about this time was that it was comfortable. It was as if we had known each other for a long time. And it felt right.

“Hey,” I said, while his eyes were on me as he rapidly chopped a carrot. I wondered how he was chopping so fast without cutting off his hand.

“Welcome home,” he said, then his eyes glinted when he looked over at Ruston. “Did you have a good time? Did they warm you up nicely?”

“Uh, yes, I had a good time,” I said. “It smells delicious.”

“Thanks, love,” he said, quickly transferring the chopped carrot into a pot of bubbling water. Ruston and Chad said they were going to get cleaned up, so they left the kitchen.

“What can I do to help?” I asked, trying to look for an apron. After all, I was the hired maid, and I still wanted to be helpful.

“Please sit,” he said, pulling a barstool out for me. “I’d much prefer it if you watched me cook for you.”

“But I can help,” I protested, reluctantly walking over to the chair. “I mean, if you’re still paying me, I want to be of some kind of use.”

“Oh, you’re definitely of some use,” he winked, and my cheeks heated when he looked at me like that. His gaze looked like he was going to knot me right there on the kitchen counter, and I clenched my thighs tight.

I felt a little bit of soreness in my ass after Ruston’s attentions, but my pussy felt contented after Chad’s tongue. I didn’t think I’d get horny again when Zaff stared at me like that.

I looked over at Oscar, who hadn’t said anything the entire time.

“Hey, Oscar,” I said as he peeled potatoes right across from me. He looked up at me and my heart pounded harder as we locked eyes. I was scared to see him after he fingered me, and we hadn’t had a chance to talk after that. But I could see in his gaze that he hadn’t forgotten.

And I was sure he felt as awkward as I did, so I needed to break that feeling between us. I wanted him to feel comfortable with me like the other guys, and I really enjoyed his company, no matter how silent he appeared.

“Hi Breanna, how’ve you been doing?” he asked in a low voice.

“I’m doing great,” I said in a cheerful tone.

“First off, I want to apologize for…”

“No, please don’t,” I said quickly before he could elaborate. I looked over at Zaff, who was furiously stirring a pot like a madman and decorating a pie with his other hand. “I enjoyed every bit of it, and I don’t want you to regret anything.”

“Well, that’s a fuckin’ relief,” he said, smiling widely, and I could see that his teeth were shaved perfectly and very white. “I didn’t want you to think I was a creep or anything on the very first day.”

“I mean, I was the one on the dryer machine,” I said, and we both laughed, remembering how my butt was hanging over the edge of the machine.

That evening,my stomach was growling with hunger as we sat around the dining table.

I tried to freshen up as best as I could in the maid’s room before dinner and even changed my outfit to a clean lingerie from the closet after I took a quick shower. I hated feeling sticky after our day at the beach but I was finally glad I was clean now.

Zaff had literally cooked a three-course meal for us.

I ate the caprese salad first, which had fresh mozzarella cheese slices over it, and every bite was simply scrumptious. I couldn’t believe how pretty the salmon looked when he dressed it up with lemon wedges around it on a bed of greens and a creamy gold sauce poured over on top and elegantly sliced potatoes on the side.
