“Oh yeah.” Memory floods back to me. “They have been a little tender. Do you think it’s the flu or something? Does that cause your boobs to hurt?”
“I don’t think so, sweetheart.”
I pull back away from him so I look at his face. He knows something. Something he isn’t telling me. “Is…it worse?”
He kisses me senseless before all the worst-case scenarios play out in my head. When he finally pulls back, I suddenly don’t care about being nauseous or that anything is off. I just want him…but there are people everywhere. Damn it!
He gives me a broad smile before bringing his fingers up to play over my cheek in a sweet brush of skin against skin. I want to lean into him and purr.
“Bunny…I think you might be pregnant.”
“What?!” I am off his lap so fast I get a little dizzy and have to hang onto him when he rushes over to me. “You… I… I can’t be.”
He rubs his lips against my own. “Bunny, we’ve been fucking like, well, rabbits, my love. I’ve dumped so much cum in you, it's crazy to think you aren’t pregnant by now.”
I sink back down on the bed but bring my hand up so it can entwine with his needing his touch.
“You think…?” I turn worried eyes up to him.
“I do. Yes. And there’s not a thing to be worried about. This was going to happen sooner or later. I’m…,” he bends down in front of me, “I’m hoping you are.”
“You…you’re hoping we are?” He nods. “But…we haven’t talked about it and you haven’t said anything else about…well, you wouldn’t have to for us to have a baby together, but…”
I dance around the subject of marriage, but Gray can read me too well.
“Are you serious? Hell yes, we are getting married. I told you, I want to make you my wife.”
“Once. Then you never mentioned it again.”
He snickers before pulling me down for another kiss.
“Baby, I told you I love you, practically moved you and your sister in, and can’t live without you. How much further am I going to be able to push before you become overwhelmed and tell me to slow my ass down?”
Silence greets him for all of maybe five seconds before I launch myself at him. We both fall to the floor with him taking all the brunt of the small fall. He rolls us so he’s on top of me andmy legs come up around his hips. Our mouths clash in a sultry kiss with both of us pouring our love and joy into it. His mouth trails down my neck and further, yanking my sweater from my shoulder.
“We have to take a test.” He says the words in between kisses.
“Test?”
“Yeah, a pregnancy test to make sure. And then we have to find you a doctor. Do you want to tell your mom and Tandy before or after we go to the doctor?”
While I’m thinking he pulls the sweater fully off me. “I think…after. So we're absolutely sure.”
“I’m going to make you a wife just like I made you a mother, quick and forever.”
I laugh and run my hands up under his shirt so I can touch his chest.
“But first I’m going to make love to you so we can celebrate.”
“But we don’t even know yet. We should go buy the test after the cookout?”
“We don’t have to. I bought a bunch when your breasts started getting tender and you didn’t have a period. There’s probably fifty here.”
“What? Oh my God, Gray! You…you really want this, don’t you?”
“I want it all with you, bunny. Every moment, every milestone, every dream both of us have ever had. But right now…I want to make love to you more than taking my next breath.”
I laugh and wrap my arms around his neck.
