“What did you say to her at that moment? Nothing that can be incriminating when we’re in court?”

“I basically told her that if she continued to confront Summer, that we would get a restraining order and that wouldn’t look good for her in court.” Shaw says.

“And what did she do from there?”

“She left.”

“Have you had any more contact with her since this?”

“No.” he and I both say in unison.

“Keep it that way. If you need to speak during drop off and pickups, then do that. Keep it neutral and remember to not talk about any of this with your boy.”

“We won’t,” Shaw says. “With the newest confrontation with Summer, do you think any of that will make a play in court?” Shaw looks up at me.

“Hopefully not. She may try to use the other day against you in court, but I don’t really foresee it becoming an issue. But it might also be wise to have the employee write up an affidavit about what she called you about, just in case we should need it.”

“Got it. I’ll make sure that it’s one of the priorities.” Shaw replies.

“Good. I’ll be in touch in the next few days. I’m not in front of my schedule, but we will need to work on something to get ready for court at the end of the month.”

“Call me whenever you have a chance.”

“Will do, you guys have a good night.”
