“I mean, she ran your life. Then she got pregnant and once Mason was born, you were like a glorified babysitter, at least that’s how she treated you. You weren’t allowed to drive in the car without her, or you always had to have someone else around if she wasn’t going to be. I mean, that kind of distrust is disrespectful towards you.”

“I know,” I agree with him.

“You always have liked Summer though,” he points out.

“While that’s the truth, I wouldn’t have cheated.”

“I know that too. You’re one faithful old dog.”

“Don’t refer to me as a dog.” I chuckle.

“Woof. I’m a dog too. The chick last night basically yelled that at me when she left my place this morning,” Luke shares.

“I don’t even want to know,” I say shaking my head.

“No, no you don’t,” he agrees.

And I’m thankful he doesn’t dive into his escapades from last night. Most of the time, his stories are some of the grossest stories that I’ve heard.
