"Or something," she says, giggling. She leans forward and sucks on my lower lip and runs her fingers down my back.

“So Remington Parker is a dad.” Her eyes are wide. "I cannot wait to hear what Juniper is going to say."

"Why would she say anything?" I ask.

"Well, she is his assistant, and she knows he's a man whore." She laughs. "She'll probably be like, 'Oh, I bet there are ten other kids going to come out the woodwork.'"

"Yeah, I guess. Why are we talking about Juniper right now when we should be talking about us and which position we want to do next?"

"I'm thinking about giving her a makeover," she says. "I know she really wants to find a man, and well…”

"I think that's a good idea," I say. "She's not a ugly girl, but she's not really doing much with her looks."

"Hey, that's not nice," she says, slapping me in the arm.

"What? I'm just being honest. Men are visual creatures. And well, she's great at her job, but she's not attracting anyone with those dowdy clothes and those glasses that she wears, Skye. Not even a little bit."

"I know, and I think she knows that as well. I think Lila and I are going to give her a makeover. Maybe Marie as well. By the way, is she actually going to be working for Gabe or…”

"To be honest, I'm not really sure what's going on with that." I shake my head. "I'll most likely find out in the meeting next week."

"Cool," she says. "That will be interesting."

"Oh, why do you say that?" She blushes slightly.

"Well, I shouldn't say anything."

"Shouldn't say anything about what?"

"Marie's always had a crush on Gabe."

"She has?" I frown. "But she's like, nineteen."

"Yeah. Well, it's not like Gabe's fifty."

"But he is in his early thirties."

"Yeah, so? She likes an older man. Sue her."

"She's pregnant and about to have a baby."

"I'm not saying that she's going to get with him or anything. I'm just saying that it will be interesting if she starts working for him when she used to have a crush on him."

"I suppose." I shrug. And then kiss her on the cheek. "But let's not talk about them anymore. Let's talk about us."

"What about us do you want to talk about?"

"Well, can we agree to call our Saturday dates, dates and not just fun nights or whatever?"

"Yes,” she says.

"And can we agree that the Saturday dates will last the entire weekend if we want them to?"

"Maybe," she says.

"And can we agree that while we're going to be professional in the office," I pause, and she wrinkles her nose.

"Yeah. What about it?"
