“That’s news I will like giving.”

As soon as they got back to the party, Sel jumped on one of the picnic tables and got everyone’s attention. After the announcement, the crowd cheered, and he was helped down by Indio.

He soon had a cup of beer in his hand and his friends surrounded him. As Indio went to hang out with Kirk, Sel told Binx, Mal, Ruben and Prince, “Get the contract ready. He is coming around to the idea.”

“He is?” Binx hugged him. “Well, I’ll have lots of time to coach you once we’re back.”

“Back?”

Ruben nodded, “Him and his Sirs are heading home in a couple days to get their house packed and on the market to rent and they’ll be back here a month before opening. They want to spend that time with their friends.”

Sel hugged Binx again. “I’m so glad! I don’t know what we’d do here without you.”

“I can’t wait to have my own kitchen and cook for the masses.”

Ruben added, “It’s all coming together. That asshole is dead, we’re all…like a little family. I’ve never been happier.”

Mal pointed away from them and they turned to see Bonita and Barry walking off hand in hand together. “You might just be the brother of the bride soon. Look at them.”

“That’ll make her happy. She’s liked him since she first saw him.”

Sel remembered his uncle’s wish for the place. He wanted somewhere that people could come together and fall in love, find a new family or both.

Looking over the crowd, seeing the happy faces, watching laughter and friendships blossom, he knew his uncle’s wish had come true. The resort wasn’t open and already there were lasting friendships made, people falling in love, and the feeling of home was spreading through every acre of Carrillo Ranch.

Roland came to hang out with him and his friends, asking, “You need to give me your ideas for your house.”

“How much can I copy my uncles?”

“I’m making the outsides of all the…” he leaned in to whisper the rest. “Mafia houses the same.”

“Oh! Oh, good! Well, I love the inside of the place too. I’ll look at some décor sites and see if there’s anything I want.”

“Okay, great. We’ll meet this week. The guest houses, the building where the meetings and such will be held and Dex’s house is already being built, now that Dante’s is finished.”

Prince broke in, “Roland did an amazing job with the plans for our house.”

“I can’t wait to see it.”

Binx confided, “We’re going to have one closer to the ranch, actually. We like Dante’s too, though. Roland showed us the concepts, and we want the same.”

It was all coming together, and Sel felt a little overwhelmed. “It’s hard for me to believe that all of us are going to be here, living close, still being friends.”

“We’re just so glad you aren’t angry with us,” Prince said.

“How could I be? You were all helping me. You all only wanted the best for me. I love you, all of you.”

They sang songs, drank way too much and watched Dallas and Avery do rope tricks. There was a sense of pure joy and a lot of relief running through the crowd. Even the construction workers, who’d been kept mostly separate from the rest of the ranch, were having fun.

Music was played, people danced, Indio refused, however, but instead of dancing, they sneaked off together to fuck in one of the stable stalls.

Indio picked him up and hung him over a blanket that was draped over the rail in one of the stalls, eating his ass before taking him down and fucking his mouth. He was a mess when they got back to the party, but no one seemed to notice.

That night, they slept back in the farmhouse, and Indio woke him, begging for coffee. “My head. I can’t sit up.”

“And I can?”

“You want to be one of those submissives. Start doing the submissive thing.”
