Delancy glared at me. For a moment, I didn't think he would sign, but then I heard a throat clear behind us. Delancy grabbed the pen and signed his name.

When I glanced over my shoulder, I found Delancy's grandfather standing there, his arms crossed. There was a glint of displeasure in his eyes as he looked at his grandson.

I wasn't sure what was going on there.

Once everything was signed, I grabbed Delancy's hand again. Now that we were married, there was no way in hell I was letting go of him. God knows what kind of antics I would have to deal with.

I wasn't terribly thrilled with having to attend the reception. It came complete with a five-course sit down dinner followed by drinks and dancing.

I didn't dance.

Still, when indicated, I drew Delancy out onto the dance floor for the expected wedding couple dance. Holding him in my arms, his body pressed close to mine, was not a hardship.

I wish he'd look at me.

"Delancy."

His lips pressed thin.

"Delancy."

I was actually a little amused by his behavior. Not a lot, but just a little. While I didn't want a doormat, he needed to understand who was in charge here, and it wasn't him.

"Look at me, querido."

Delancy huffed and raised his eyes. "What?"

"You look very nice in your tuxedo." I almost blinked at that statement. I hadn't known those words would come out of my mouth until they did.

Apparently, Delancy hadn't expected them either. His eyes grew round, and his mouth dropped open. "I...uh..." His eyebrows snapped together. "What?"

"You look very nice."

"Thank you?"

I chuckled at his confusion. He did look nice, although I think I preferred him in the white suit he had been wearing at the club. This suit was refined and elegant. The other white suit had been sexy as hell.

"What is your name?"

My mouth almost dropped open. Only years of training and experience in the face of my grandfather allowed me to keep my composure.

I smirked before answering, "Husband."

Delancy's eyes rolled. "I mean your real name."

"According to the marriage license you just signed, my name is husband."

Delancy's nostrils flared with the fury I could see building in his eyes.

It was kind of fun poking at him.

"What is your birth name?" Delancy asked through gritted teeth.

I snorted. "Little bastard." That was the only thing my father had ever called me. I didn't even want to think about what my grandfather had called me.

I tightened the arm I had wrapped around Delancy's waist when he started to pull away. He wasn't going anywhere.

I grabbed his wrist with my free hand and brought it between us. I was sure that to the onlookers, it looked like a romantic gestures, especially when I leaned down closer. Delancy obviously knew it was a threat if his wide eyes were anything to go by.
